"Help you?", Meliodas questioned.
(Y/n) slowly get up with the help of Diane and her strength. She looks at Cap'n with determination and self-pride. I lower my head and chop the meat listening.
"Manny of friends were killed by a Witch. She sent fables after us," she lowers her head sadly," they all died and I survived only because of Ban. That Witch is trying to take over all kingdoms starting with Avon".
"Wait what are fables?", Diane questioned.
"Their mythical creatures who are original from storybooks, but the worst of the fables got sent here somehow," King spoke and Diane made an 'oh' sound
"Avon?", Elizabeth questioned, "I've been there before isn't it ruled by King Nicolas?"
"Was," she answered.
"He's dead?", Elizabeth gasped.
"No but very sick Adrian took over right after he became ill," she looks desperately at the blonde we called Captain," please Meliodas if that Witch takes over Avon she will have power and take over all other kingdoms one by one."
Meliodas looks at her intriguingly as if considering the thought carefully. He places his hand on his chin and closes his eyes. As he begins to answer her he zooms over behind Elizabeth and gropes her casually.
Hawk and Diane squeal in disgust. (Y/n) looks at him dumbfounded and confused. I laugh.
"Hey, Eliza what do you think?", he says as he bounces her boobs up and down. Elizabeth uncomfortably tries to speak.
"Sir. Meliodas!," she screams.
"Get off her you pervert", Hawk and Diane yelled as both smack Captain into a wall. He rubs his cheek where a reddish handprint was and pig print sat.
"I'm gonna take that as a yes," Meliodas say after a moment. He hops us eagerly with a bright charming smile.
It was times like this I couldn't tell he had changed. He smiled so much and laughed almost at everything. He hadn't changed, but he has we've all noticed it. Merlin more than anyone else. Captain was something dark. King said it himself a while back.
"Thank you so much Meliodas," she says shaking his hand with great force.
"Don't thank me Ban did save you. Without him saving you we wouldn't have known of you or your kingdom," Meliodas says I sip my ale looking at the two from this distance.
I shake my head and sit the ale down, "I was just in the neighborhood no need for thanks." As I spoke I hadn't realized she had rushed over and hugged me. The warmth of her body felt comforting and joyful. I savored the embrace lovingly, but it couldn't last. I never hugged her back. Instead, I gently pushed her back and sighed tiredly.
"I'm not a hug person," I say walking back to my ale. She smiles at me as I descended away.
"So when do we leave?", (Y/n) asked after a moment.
"First you have to heal up," I broke in, "You can't even walk straight."
"I can walk fine," she says as she walks a little limping while almost falling. Diane catches her before she could, "see." I shake my head.
"Ban is right (Y/n) you can't go on half dead and besides we'll need the rest of the sins," Meliodas says.
"Rest?", she questioned, "isn't this seven?"
"The master and the princess don't count," I as I set the plates on the counter.
"What? So who are the other two?", I asked.
"Lady Merlin and Escanor," Gowther spoke.
"Merlin?" she questioned, "why does she sound familiar?"
She says as she walks over to the bar sitting down in satisfaction after kneeling, almost falling, and standing for serval long periods.
"She's King Arthur mage," I spoke as I sat the outstandingly grilled steak with gravy on the plate with rice on the side dress with an olive.
(Y/n) looked at the food like Hawk would when he haven't had scapes in within twenty-five minutes. She licks her pink and plump lips with the only desire in her eyes is that plate.
I chuckle, "you look hungry."
"Hungry is not how I would describe it. I'm starving," I hear her stomach grow and she clenches it.
I stared at her. She was so adorable. I hated to admit it but she was. Innocent, sweet, and adorable. So much of her reminds me of how much I missed Elaine. If I think about it if I never would have fallen for Elaine would I fall for (Y/n)? Maybe even Jericho? She's self-independent and realizes on herself like Jericho and graceful, strong-willed, and lovable as easy as Elaine. I gave my heart up a long time ago to Elaine. These thoughts are nothing but thoughts...nothing more....
"You should eat them. You'll need the strength," I push her the plate she takes it with bright eyes. Without hesitation, she grabs the fort and digs in. Her eyes spark taking that bite.
"This is amazing!", she yells.
I smile in satisfaction, "plenty more where that came from if you want."
"Thanks," she moans in delight, "so good."
"Yeah he's like a world-class chief," Diane says as she takes her a plate.
"I wouldn't say that," I smiled.
"Heck I'll say", Hawk says, "you're amazing Ban".
"Thanks, master," I say as I hand him a bowl of scraps. He squeals in delight.
"You are a gift Ban!", Hawk yells.
"I'll say!," (Y/n) says as he washed the foot down with water.
I smiled assuringly at her. She nods and continues eating.
Maybe I could have fallen for her...maybe....
