I stare blankly at the silhouette of (Y/n) disappeared body. One moment there, the next...gone? How? Where? Everything seemed to slow down. Everyone and everything. I tried listening. There was a loud ear aching noise ringing. It just kept ringing and ringing getting louder and louder.

"Ban!"

I shake my head violently. Jericho stood in front of me her eyes determined. She'd just slapped me. Her cheeks a flustered pink as my cheeks were stinging and felt like fire. But only for a few seconds.

I try to focus on her.  "Get up! Stand on your feet and go after (Y/n)!", she yells.

"(Y/n)? Where?" , I asked looking around. Didn't I see her disappear? Jericho points to a big feathered bird. Who sat on the bird, was her father. Yuri. (Y/n) was clucked in the talons of the giant bird. Her red wedding dress slightly burned, and her, she looked okay. I exhaled.

Jericho grips me and forces me to look at her, "Ban! I need you to go after (Y/n) and bring her back! By any means necessary...understand?"

I nod without hesitation, "What about you?" , I questioned.

"I'm gonna help the citizens get to safety, afterward I'm going after the Witch", she narrows her eyes determinedly. I was beginning to protest her about going after the Witch alone, but Jericho had that of no hesitation, and knowing her and that look, it means she's not gonna back down without a fight and that means I had to do all I could to protect her, and (Y/n),"take this", she hands me (Y/n)'s sword. I take it out of its holder inspecting it. It's sharpened to perfection. I nod and quickly we head our separate ways.

I stand on top of the ledge to get a good view o the direction (Y/n)'s father was heading. Scanning quickly, I spot him in the Kingdom. Over the far side, at a church, the bird landed at the top with the bell. Once I see him I make no hesitation.  "Ban!" I recognized the voice. It was Adrian, "let me come."

I groan, "I don't have time for this Adrian."

"I wanna help save (Y/n). She may not love me the way she does with you, but I still care about her and would do anything for her so please...let me come", he knelt down desperately with his right hand over his chest and head to the cement of the bailey. I groan in discomfort my thoughts were running at this moment.

"Fine", I growled, "you wanna come? Then keep up, and follow my led."  I jumped down from the edge and land on my feet. Adrian follows down stabbing the wall to slow his landing so he wouldn't hurt himself. We both take off together to the church up towards the bell tower.

It doesn't take long to reach the church, I kicked open the doors of the church instantly when near. Inside, it was older modeled with wooden benches and a bland gray or brownish carpet and huge cross in the center. The doors shut close behind us immediately silencing all the noise and loud screaming from outside. We inspect around.

"Don't lower your guard for a second", I warned, "I probably won't be able to save you if we're to get captured."

Adrian scoffs, "I'm the most experienced fighter to be at your side. I can handle myself, unlike you, you're reckless and impatient."

"That Avon shit won't cut it. You guys can fight, but it's not enough. You're all very weak. You highly."

"You've never seen me fight before! I stabbed you at the wedding. If I can do that then 'tis will be easy," Adrian gloats.

I shake my head in dismissal," only because I let you", I mumbled to myself. As Adrian walked I quickly stopped him. He looks at me bewildered, but I motion up. The bell trembles. It's not a natural ring it's as if it's a forced banging. From above I could hear the squawking of a bird. We both look at each other sharing a glance then following up.
