I always wondered what happens after. After death, I mean. While alive I feel so much sadness, heartbreak and joy, that always seemed to come with pain. I wondered if I were to die, do I still feel those emotions or is it all gone? I want to feel something. Something other then this eternal silence. The silence is what hurts most. Cause I use to feel it and now I don't. I want to know that there's something after. I have to know.

I groan in dismay as the familiar burn of the sun hits my skin causing me to wake. I open my eyes for a second and immediately close them blocking out the orangish glow from the window. I flutter my eyes after a moment until I'm familiarize with the light. It takes a few seconds, but I recognize myself with it and push myself to sit up. For a moment, I don't even recognize were I am as I looked around. Suddenly, I hear soft tapping footsteps that seemed far, but came closer. Somehow I seemed to focus on those footsteps listening to them thump irregularly as I groan and squeeze my eyes shut. After a few seconds, the room door opens and closes from behind. I open my eyes curiously to see who it was as my heart immediately exceeded from my chest. It was m dad. It was actual him this time.

"Dad?" I questioned. He looks at me as a huge smile spreads quickly across his face. He held a mug of water in his hand, but when he sees me he spills it rushing towards me to embrace me in a tight hug. I hug back not waiting a chance to be interrupted. I sob in his arms,"Dad...I missed you!"

"Hey, I missed you too (Y/n)" he spoke as his voice breaks slightly. He hugs me a little tighter. "I've missed you so much." He lets go as he looks me in my eyes painfully,"I'm so sorry I lied." I look at him confused for a moment then immediately understand what he was mentioning. Ren.

"So she is my mother?", I question. He nods his head slowly. I sigh sadly. "Is everything she said to me true Dad?" He looks at me unresponsive for a moment. He looked as if he didn't want to answer. I honestly didn't want him to either.

"She was doing black magic (Y/n). You were only two at the time, but her magic took a huge toll on you and corrupted you. She was suppose to be your mother. She was suppose to protect you and she didn't do that!" I lower my head and stop him from saying anymore. I smile as I wipe to fresh tears from my eyes and smile through it.

"Dad I don't want to talk about her anymore" ,I spoke softly as I cup his hand in mine, "I've missed you for six months and now I just want a father." He smiles, but in the inside I could tell he was frowning. I just smile seeming happy.

"I'll always be your father." He smiles proudly and chuckles as he kisses my forehead passionately,"Now that I'm back, maybe you can fill me in on the few months I've been gone. Like the fact of you almost getting married?"

I blush slightly embarrassed remembering the event that my life and happiness was almost taken from me. Then I remember the life I was given and smile,"Yea...almost."

"You were gonna Marry Adrian? Your best friend?",Dad gasp sarcastically. I groan trying to hide the smile from creeping on my face. He was worser then the old woman at the hair salon when hearing gossip. I chuckle at his ability to act so old, but appear so young. I grip the stair-rail as I walked down. I gasp looking around at the castle. Last time I was in here, the castle was breaking apart from the fables destruction almost in ruins. Now, it looked like nothing ever touched it. Perfect condition and sparkling clean.

I look over at my father, "How long was I out?" He looks back over at me and frowns. "That long?" I question.

He nods,"Only half of a week." I touch my stomach as I start to feel sick slightly. Dad smiles at me comfortingly,"You had a lot of people who came to see you. I mean a lot...". He smirks. I look at him courteously.
