As I walk inside I instantly get warm.
The fireplace was burning and I took off pony's hoodie.
Wait.. His hoodie.
I ran out of the house and open the rusty gate.
I see ponyboy about 30 feet away from me.
"Ponyboy!" I yell.
He turns around swiftly, I run to him and hand him his jacket.
"Y-you forgot this..." I say and he looks down at me.
"O-Oh are you sure?" He asks.
I nod and he takes his jacket, "goodnight Ari" he smiles and I smile back.
"Goodnight pony" I say and start running towards the house.
Pony stares at me running, a smile on his face.
When I get to my house he waves and starts walking again.

I wake up in the morning and met up with two-bit for breakfast.
We settled for a deli nearby.
"So where's ponyboy?" I asked.
Two-bit looks at me. "He's at school, why? You like him or somethin?"
"Wha- no!" I yell and he chuckles.
"Sure Ariana" he smirks and I slap his arm.
"S-Stop it!" I say and he keeps teasing me.
"I don't like ponyboy" I slam my hands on the table.
Two-bit puts his hands up in defense.
"How old is he anyway? Probably too old for me-"
"He's 15" he cuts me off.
I pause and look up at him, not lifting my head up.
He starts to laugh and I frown at him. "I hate you" I say.

I walk down the street as the wind blew against my face.
I sigh and look up From the ground.
I see someone walking with.. Ponyboy?
She looks like a soc.
What is pony doing with a soc?..
I frown slightly as I see then talking and laughing.
I kinda stopped in my tracks and looked at them.
Wait.. I actually do like ponyboy..
My thoughts were interrupted by a stupid soc girl.
"Hey greaseball!" She yells.
I turn my attention over to her and see a group of them with some boys.
"What do you want dip-shit." I spit and she laughs.
"Oh sweetie, the only dip-shit here is you" she stops once sees pony and the other girl.
"I-is that.. Cherry?" She gasps.
"Go away greasy" she shoos me away.
"My name is Ariana" I spit
Once I say that, ponyboy shoots his head over to us.
I had enough of her teasing and punched her in the jaw.
She screamed and ponyboy was about to run towards me when that Cherry girl held him back.
"G-get her!" She screams and the boys get up from their table.
I look at ponyboy and step back.
"Ariana.." He says and I start running once the soc boys run after me.
I run as fast as I can into our neighborhood.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!" I hear ponyboy scream from behind the socs.
I get tackled by one of the socs and punched in the face several times.
Pony tackles the soc that was on top of me.
Ponyboy and him start fighting, throwing punches at each other.
Soon ponyboy knocks him out cold.
He grabs my hand and lifts me off the floor.
We start running as the two other socs try to catch up.
We turn a corner and hide behind a dumpster.
We see the socs run past us.
All of a sudden my vision blurry and I fall back onto ponyboy.
He catches me and lays me gently on the ground.
"Ari? Ari!" He yells and shakes me lightly.
My vision clears again and I sit up, dizzy.
"I-I'm sorry" I mutter and ponyboy looks at me with a worried expression.
"You look very pale, you got quite a beating" he says as I lean my head on his shoulder.
"I'm okay" I say as he pulls me up.
I start walking away but he grabs my wrist and turns me around.
"Ariana.. A-are you sure you don't want me to-"
"No. It's fine. Thanks pony" I say and he lets me go.
"O-Okay.."
I turn around and kiss him on the cheek, "I'll see you tonight" I say.
His face was surprised but his cheeks were bright pink.
I walk out of the alley with my head down.
I hope he doesn't see that cherry girl ever again....
