It's 8:36 and I'm walking towards the movies with the gang, ponyboy wanted to see a new movie that was coming out.
So why not?
"So what is the movie about?" I ask and he looks at me.
"I don't really know, but I heard it's about a beach party or somethin" He says.
"I bet were gonna see that cherry bitch at the movies" dally groans.
I scoff and look up at him, damn he's tall.
"If she is you gonna have to hold me back from skinnin' her alive"
He chuckles, "don't worry, I will"
"Didn't you hit on her last time we were at the movies, Dal?" Two-bit asks.
"Nah, just havin my fun" he looks at me then quickly looks away.
We get to the movies and sit down somewhere in the middle row.
I sit in the middle of ponyboy and two-bit.
"Hey y'all want anything to drink or eat?" I ask, standing up.
They all nodded and told me what hey wanted.
"I'll come with you, I like my coke a specific way." Johnny says and stands up too.
"Okay c'mon" we walk down the stairs and into the small food area.
"So how are you n' pony goin?" He asks.
"What? We're not dating or anything.."
"I know but I just think that he really likes you, I mean he can't stop talkin' about you and just smiles whenever someone mentions your name"
"Really?" I ask, clearly surprised.
He nods, "I-I think you should tell him how you feel.." He shrugs.
I nod and hug him, "it's really nice talkin' to you Johnny. We should really get to know each other more"
His cheeks turn a faint pink and he smiles.
"C'mon lets go before the movie starts" he says.

We get out of the movie house. "Man, that movie was awesome!" Steve says and we laugh.
We decided to sit somewhere in the driveway.
We didn't bring a car here but whatever.
Ponyboy, dally, two-bit, Johnny and I sat on a car.
I didn't know who's car it was, but I didn't care either.
Dally pulled out a special pack of cigarettes out of his pockets.
They have a certain smell that I extremely hate.
"Dally.." I whine once he lights it up.
He knows how much I hate them, but he smokes it anyway.
"Put it out dal" I groan and he pulls me onto his lap and blows the smoke in my face.
I cough and make a disgusted face. "Dallas Winston!" I yell and get off of his lap, punching him lightly in the arm.
"I love making you mad" he laughs and I cross my arms.
"Aye what the hell you doin' on my car?!" I hear from behind us.
All five us turned around and see 4 drunk socs walking towards us.
Two-bit chuckles, "this is gunna be way too easy"
We get off of the car and dally flicks his cigarette on the ground.
Thank god
Two bit takes his coke bottle and breaks it on the fence.
He holds the sharp bottle at them and they slowly back away.
"You gonna leave or not?" Two-bit tilts his head to the side.
"W-woah man, were leavin were leavin.." They leave.
"They were that drunk?" I laugh.
"I guess so.." Two-bit shrugs.
"Well, I'm gonna go. Goodnight guys!" Johnny says.
"Johnny wait I'm coming!" I say and turn to pony, "you comin?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "I'm gonna stay here with the guys"
"Okay I'll see you guys later!" I smile and the guys wave goodbye.
I catch up to Johnny and punch him in the arm. "Ow! What was that for?!"
"For not waiting for me!" I laugh and he punches me back.
"Oh it's on" I say and tackle him onto the grass.
I playfully give him light punches in the chest causing him to laugh, "you're weak!"
I pause, then raise my fist higher while reading my eyebrow.
He puts his hands in front of his face, "woah woah! I'm kidding! Don't kill me!" He says and I laugh.
"You're weak!" I laugh and he suddenly flips us around and pins me to the ground.
"Who's the weak one again?" He tilts his head to the side.
"Fine! You win, Johnny" I huff and he stares at me.
"Really?" He asks and I nod and look up at him.
"Well.." There's a small moment of silence.
He suddenly kisses me and pulls away as fast as he can.
"JOHNNY CADE!" I yell and he gets off of me.
"Shit! Sorry! I-I couldn't help it-"
"No I-it's fine. Just-.. Don't do it again" I sigh and we stand up.
"I wasn't thinking.. Sorry" he says and I ruffle his hair.
"It's okay johnnycake."
"Don't tell ponyboy!" He suddenly says and I nod.
"Obviously!" I laugh.
We get to his house and we hear screaming and yelling.
"My parents.." He sighs and puts his head down.
"I-I'm sorry Johnny.." I say and suddenly my head shoots up.
"Johnny!" I yell and that startles him and he jumps a little.
"What?!"
"You can live with me!" I say.
He sighs, "I-I can't."
"Why not?"
"If my parents find out I move out they'll kill me" he says.
"Why do they care anyway?.." I huff and cross my arms.
"I-I'm sorry Johnny.." I hug him.
He hugs me back tightly and silently cries.
"It's okay.. Can you at least stay over for one night?" I ask and he nods.
