Chapter 9 : love hate thing

Jennifer POV

I woke up super early in the morning to get everything done . I was going to visit Melissa in the hospital I felt bad that Yasmin broke her arm and she had a bruised rib .

" Jayden where are the keys for the car "

" Mom went with the car , cal Yasmin for a ride where ever you have to go "

" Nah I'm good "

" Whatever , I'm going to a place "

" And where might that be jay "

" None of ur concern that's where "

I ignored him then I saw someone walk in the door it was Ron ( Ricky's older brother ) I haven't seen since he last went to jail . he was around my hight with dreads and tattoos all over his body . I just kept on looking at him how could he be out of jail after what he did .but I was happy it wasn't the same without him .

" Earth to Jennifer " he said waving his hand in front of me I rand and hugged him .

" How did u get out of jail so early "

" can u believe I got out for good behavior " I looked at him and me and Jayden burst out In laughter

" Okay that was funny now what's the real reason "

" We'll they saw that there was a mistake in my case and boom I'm out "

" Does Ricky know yet "

" Noo I'm not sure if he forgave me after what I did " I just looked at him I felt bad for him after that day nothing was the same for him and Ricky .

"I'm sure he did but he is at Allen I think so yeah " he nodded his head then he and Jayden left

I heard someone knocking on the door then I heard yasmin screaming I went and open the door .

" U know I'm still mad at you nuh "

"Why I gave a hoe a lessened she needed " she said walking to the fridge .

" Yasmin this is serious u know her dad is going to sue you wright and when that happens where are you going to get the money "

" We'll I can always work as a prostitute "

" Yasmin I'm serious for once in your life can you take something serious "

"She is a horrible person what don't you understand "

" Why what did she do that is so dam bad "

" I can't tell you " she said walking out the door

" I'm tired of all the dam secrets Yasmin "

"Why can't u see this is for your own good "

" U know sisters aren't suppose to keep secrets from each other or maybe you shouldn't be my sister " she turned and looked at me and hoped in her truck and drove off

I just went to sleep cause at this point nothing wasn't making sense

** on the basketball court **

Jennifer POV

I was on the court just sitting watching everyone play basketball I was still pissed at Yasmin like I'm done with all the secrets . I wasn't even paying attention cause I felt a kiss on my cheek and I saw Kevin sitting wright next to me .

" What you thinking bout beautiful " he rapped Is arm around me and I leaned on his chest .

" Do you know what's Yasmin big secret " I felt him tense up

"We'll i um I'm not sure what it is but whatever it is you just have to leave it go " now I'm sure he's lying when ever he lies he says " leave it go "

" We'll I can't leave it go cause its destroying our relationship "

" It will be okay Jennifer " I leaned away from and looked at him

" I'm beginning to think your hiding something to "

He got off the floor

" Dam it Jennifer not everyone is keeping a secret " I. Felt stupid why

would he be keeping a secret from me .

Before I had time to reply I heard screaming it sounded like ricky .

"U belong in jail for what you did Ron "

" U won't understand " I ran up two them

" You two stop fighting "

" No he has to tell me this dam place is full of secrets why did you kill our mom "

" I'm done with you Ricky "

" Tell me Ron "

" Because she was going to kill you "

I saw the look on Ricky's face .

" Why would she do that you lier " then I finally heard Anderson talk .

" He's not lying . since your dad died there wasn't enough money and stuff and yeah that was the only way "

" How was that the only way " I looked at Ricky and I could see he was angry and hurt at the same time

** 2 days later **

Jennifer POV

The last couple off days things had changed for the better but yet for the worst me and Yasmin haven't spoken in two days that wasn't like us . So I decided to be the bigger person and go to her house and talk to her .

I reached there house and started to knock on the door and net the person I wanted to talk to open the door .she looked at me and smiled .

" Why you smiling "

" I know u couldn't go a day more without seeing me "

" I need to talk to you "

" Okay now you starting to sound like a 80 something year old women that dying when u done with your moment call me I'm in the kitchen "

" You know you kill me sometimes "

" Whatever so talk "

" I don't want us to fight anymore let's just put the past behind us "

" That's the shit I been telling you for weeks but you don't listen "

" Whatever so what's on tv "

" A show I guess "

We both went in the living room and watched a movie .
