“Sophie will you fucking look at me?!” Curtis snapped. I immediately raised my head, thinking of Jake. “Thankyou.” He scared me. Watching him yell and suddenly go calm, it was one of those things that you don’t know what it feels like till you experience it.
He pulled the cloth away from my mouth again.
“What do you want?” I asked, just simply trying not to look him in the eye.
“I just want to talk.” He sighed, putting his hand on my knee. I leaped slightly, but he didn’t move his hand.
“Well I don’t want to talk, Curtis.” I calmly replied.
“Well, I do.”
“What could there possibly be to talk about?” I retorted.
“This.”
“What the hell do you mean? ‘this’?! This is your fault, not mine.” I said angrily.
“No it’s not my fucking fault alright?! I don’t want to do this! I feel so much for you! I hate what Jake is doing to you!” he yelled in my face.
“But you’re still doing it! You don’t have control of yourself and you are pathetic!” I screamed. Bad move. Before I knew it, he had slapped me very hard across my cheek, the same cheek which Jake had already slapped twice. But this time, I could tell that he had split my cheek open, and it was bleeding, I couldn’t even wipe the blood away.
“I am not pathetic.” He spat, before stroking my cheek, wiping the blood away.
“Get off me.” I whispered.
“Make me,” he spat.
Why had he suddenly turned on me like that? My thoughts were interrupted by the door swinging open. It was Chris and Mark. Oh great, two more men to come and beat me up.
“Curtis, c’mon. Jake said we’ve got to move her. Now.” Chris said, glaring at me.
“Alright then.” Curtis replied, reaching into his pocket for something.
“What do you mean?” I panicked.
“Oh, you will find out, very soon,” Mark sneered, before Curtis grabbed hold of me.
He had that funny smelling cloth again. He held my head and pressed it towards my nose and mouth, I tried to hold my breath, knowing that if I didn’t, the smell would knock me out. But in the end, I had to breathe, and the smell made my head feel fuzzy. My vision was blanking and I was blacking out.
*NIALL’S P.O.V*
“Niall?” Louis asked, breaking my chain of thoughts.
“Yeah buddy?” I asked, rubbing my face.
“I’m gonna have to go. I also need to tell everyone of what’s happening, and I don’t want Orla on her own either…” Louis said.
“Yeah, yeah you do that. Just make sure, they know everything. We’ll be somewhat fine here.” I sighed.
“Okay, I’ll see you later mate. We’ll get her back, you know.” Louis said, before walking out.
I just nodded my head in response. I was too tired to think straight and it was only 11:00am.
