Chapter 37

*MY P.O.V*

“Goodbye, Aiden,” Jake laughed before pointing the gun at Aiden and pulling the trigger. Aiden’s body fell to the floor, lifeless.

“No!” I screamed, dropping down to him, stroking his face.

Niall came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me whilst I sobbed. There was another gunshot and Niall collapsed on top of me.

“No, please no!” I cried, as his body rolled off me, blood seeping from his head.

“Goodbye, Sophie,” Jake grinned, pointing the gun at me. The gunshot went off.

I woke up screaming at the top of my lungs. Niall shot up and grabbed my hands which were flailing everywhere.

“Sophie, what is it?!” he panicked, checking my face.

“H-he killed you and Aiden, and then me…” I cried.

“Hey, it’s okay. It was just a dream,” he whispered, hugging me.

The door flew open and it was Aiden.

“Is everything okay?! I heard screaming!” he panicked.

“She had a nightmare,” Niall said as Aiden nodded.

“You okay, Grimshaw?” Aiden asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

“I-I think so. It was horrible…” I whispered.

“Hey hey hey, it was only a dream. We’re all okay. There’s nothing to worry about, okay?” he whispered. I nodded.

He gave me a quick hug before going away.

“Are you okay?” Niall asked, as we layed down together, resting my head on his chest.

“No. When I’m awake, all I can think about is Jake. Him hitting me, almost raping me, holding everyone at gunpoint, him being killed, seeing his dead body…” I cried, pushing my face into Niall’s chest.

“It’s all over now. He can’t hurt you anymore, he wont hurt you anymore. You’ll get through this, no matter how long it takes. You have me, you have Aiden, you have everyone in the world. Nothing will hurt you anymore, and it’s all over,” Niall soothes.

“Niall? Will you sing me to sleep?” I whispered.

“Sure thing,” he smiled. “Well you done done me and you bet I felt it

I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted

Before the cool done run out I'll be giving it my bestest

And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention

I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some, but I won't hesitate no more, no more
