This is a new poem and it's about my past relationship. I've done so much thinking over the past few weeks and my experience is something I wish to move forward from. I'm sorry I've been so Taylor Swift towards you guys. I apologize for that.

We would be happy together,
I was sure, I imagined our future in my head,
You coming over here, to be with me,
It seemed like the perfect picture,
Would you stay with me?, you asked,
Yes, was my non hesitant reply,
Of course I would stay, it was the only way.
No other option, I made my decision,
I'm still a child at heart, yet I know it,
As well as I know my mind,
Running to my folks, would get me into trouble,
I didn't need their permission,
Looking forward to meeting you, I was,
To feel your arms around me,
Your lips on mine and your breath on my neck,
I was blind enough to say you were my Romeo,
A lonely Juliet, waiting on the white porch,
Surrounded by bushes and armed knights,
I'm a woman and I like simple delights.
I would've loved to have shared with you
The warm, cool and perfect endless nights.
