Forever Boy

A/N: Hey Guys.

This is a new poem I wrote a few minutes ago and it was inspired by Ariana Grande's "Knew Better/ Forever Boy". This might be a poem about heartbreak or looking for the 'Forever Boy' but that doesn't mean that I'm on the look out, I'm taking things real slow. Gotta focus on life, family, friends and education first before anything else. You better do the same thing guys, focus on what's really important before you jump ahead.

Boy, you're so confusing,

You have me dancing in the haze,

A blurry world spins around me,

Suddenly reality's gone,

If I knew better,

I wish you would've done better,

Maybe we could've been together,

You won't find anyone so special next time,

'Cuz ain't nobody like me,

There's no-one quite like me,

Been friends for a minute,

So you know just what I like,

You know my mind,

Missing out on the golden target

That's my heart,

You showed me what it means to be happy,

Even for a short while,

Those little moments, they flew by,

I'll cherish for some time,

The love I often wished for

Became nothing but a dream,

I see the mirror's lied,

Reflection blinded my vision, I'm not so pretty,

'Tis truly a pity, sometimes life can be so shitty.

I'll be singing the upbeat, almost happy song,

Before I find my forever, boy

Until then I'll become invisible,

Hide my true motive, speak in mystery,

Don't you ask me, if I'm acting coy.
