'A poem that people will really feel--that makes it more powerful...a poem that has a spark that will ignite a heart with so much emotion'.

By Me

I treated your kiss like a whirlwind,

I felt it and blushed,

Red pouring out on the soft skin of my cheek,

I caressed it and smiled,

So in love,

So happy I could sing,

So alive I could dance,

Your lips against my skin put me in a trance.

And when I turned out,

The blush on my cheek now gone,

A memory faded and my mind went blank,

I turned around and saw your shadow,

The sun of your love,

Turned into forgetful moonlight,

Which even the admirable beauty of stars,

Fail to signify.

Our flower which had blossomed,

Is lying withered on the cold floor,

You plucked it from our tree of trust,

It got converted into betrayal and hurt.

So much in heartbreak,

My sadness is in silence,

I feel so dead inside,

And feel a shimmered tear escape my tired eyes.

Spiraling out of control,

With one twirl of of smoke,

You disappeared into the deep blue,

In a millisecond I only felt your ghost,

My moon,

My sun,

My heart

My everything,

You went away too soon.
