Fallen Melody (A Summer's Nightmare)

Hey Guys.

This is a new poem I have written today with my College best friend Saraphyllis. If it wasn't for her, this poem would only be half-done and unfinished. She is an incredible song writer and poet and a fantastic friend who understands what it's like to be misunderstood and judged. Yet she fights it and doesn't let people bring her down.

Thank you my lovely.

I hope you guys like this poem, if you do then please don't forget to VOTE & COMMENT! :)

Under a hazy sky,

We slow dance, just you and I.

Your dark eyes reflecting passion,

While looking into mine,

Your fingers tracing slowly and carefully,

Down my spine. Your fiery touch feels divine,

This, us so intimate outshine all that's fine.

The way it's supposed to be,

Our fingers entwined so perfectly,

Heart to heart, we are,

Dancing in infinity,

The way we say it was supposed to be,

Eye to eye, we see,

Us playing a sweet, yet unchained melody,

The lullaby our mothers hummed,

As our eyes drooped and our bodies gave in,

Falling quietly to sleep.

The notes of the song of the Nightingale

Rise and fall, like a phoenix,

Our little song like the Grand Piano of the Opera,

Collide and boom like the drum kit,

Playing now so off beat,

We have met the summer's day daze,

Drifting apart and going in opposite directions,

No more floating side by side,

Two hearts broken into two,

Like a fallen mirror,

Shattering so suddenly,

Our once melody has brought me tears,

A Mozart's composition now not so beautiful,

Has made its way through the tunnels of my ears,

The tragic love story, giving me the worst of fears.
