Chapter EighteenI slowly opened my eyes because I felt a little pain in my head.
I slowly stood up from lying down but it seemed like I can't completely move my limbs.
Just as I was almost sitting erect, someone stopped me and pushed me back to bed.
"Yah. Wait. You should rest. You're not well yet." He said as he neatly tucked me on the bed.
He then pressed something beside my bed. I think its purpose is to call a nurse? or a doctor? I don't really know. I was still half asleep.
"Where... am I?" I faintly said as I looked at him.
He looked tired. His eyebags were visible and his eyelids were almost closing.
"At the hospital." He yawned as he sat on a chair and rested his head on the bed.
I noticed that I was on dextrose but I was still wearing my outfit. My coat was on Hoshi's chair tho.
Suddenly, a nurse came and checked on me.
"How are you feeling, Ms. Park?" She asked.
"I'm feeling better. Thanks." I answered.
She checked my pulse and adjusted the dextrose' current.
"You can leave after your dextrose is up to here. Just press that button again and we'll come here to remove it for you." She addressed to us while smiling.
Hoshi nodded and the nurse bowed and went out.
"It's good that we can go home. We stayed here for ..." He looked at his watch, "20 hours already. I was worried that you won't wake up." He murmured.
"Sorry if I made you worry. I think we can leave this instant. It's already half full anyway." I asked as I gently massage my temples.
"No." Hoshi said like a mother while crossing his arms.
I just chuckled silently and closed my eyes for a while.
"Yah!" His voice sunddenly raised.
"How can you be such a cry baby? You came home crying. Then you started hyperventilating then you fainted. Good thing I was there to catch you." He said as he sat erect.
"Sorry..." I said, nervous.
He raised his eyebrow waiting for something.
"And thank you Hoshi." I added.
He smiled a little but he suddenly turned serious,
"You ..." He cleared his throat, "Do you know how well or not is your health?"
I slowly nodded as I bit my lower lip.
Why is he asking me this?
"Why didn't you tell me Dohee-ah? Why didn't you tell me that you have asthma?!" He said almost shouting. I cringed.
Who told him?
"The doctor told me." He said.
Wait can he hear my thoughts now? O.o
I had asthma since I was 8 and whenever it would strike, I would have difficulty in breathing and headache. Sometimes, I even faint just like what happened.
"Dohee-ah~" Hoshi whined, waking me out of my misery.
"It was nothing serious."
"Nothing serious?! I'm your guardian here Dohee. Mom is not here to take care of you. And you didn't even found your brother yet to take care of you--" He stopped as he noticed that I was hurt of what he had said.
