Chapter Nineteen

Joshua and Dohee

I can't even think about it.

Them? Together? Ugh. My stomach would just cringed at the thought.

It's making me have goosebumps.

"Aish. Hoshi! What are you even doing? You're acting like a complete jealous wife." I groaned as I hit my head with my palm a couple of times.

"Are you crazy?! Huh?!"

I messed my hair out of frustration and sighed.

"Urgh! I should go back now."

Just then, I stopped at my tracks and fall down unto my knees as I cupped my face.

I groaned, "What's happening to me?! Ugh!" as I pinch my cheeks.

I stood up and took deep breaths.

I tapped my chest and find it beating fast.

I sighed.

"Are you really into this girl?" I asked no one in particular.

"I guess ... You are." I replied and looked up, still confused and feeling a bit tired.

It looked like it was going to rain. I hurriedly got out from the rooftop of the hospital and made my way downstairs to Dohee's room.

A couple of minutes I arrived on the floor where Dohee's room is.

I decided to buy us some soda since it'd be awkward if I would just get inside without anything in my hands and not having something to talk about.

I went to the bending machine that was 15 steps away from Dohee's room and bought two orange flavored soda.

After buying them, I walked courageously to Dohee's room.

As I slowly turn the knob and went in, the girl nurse immediately greeted me. I bowed back in respect and moved my gaze to Dohee's bed.

There was a guy nurse who holding Dohee's hand. It was obvious that he's 'not just doing his job'. He's taking chances!

Anger swept through me.

Anger? Jealousy maybe.

"What's happening here?" I asked as calm as possible. "Why are you holding her hand?"

"Where have you been?" the guy nurse said with a serious tone as he let go of her hand and stood infront of me.

"I went outside ... for a while." I said.

"Oh really. Your girlfriend here would've left the hospital if we didn't saw blood drops from her hand. I'm the one to ask of what happened." He said with authority.

"I--I have no idea." I said.

Is this my fault? Wait, blood?

And wait, what?! G--Girlfriend??

"Don't you have money to pay for the hospital? Is that why she planned to run away? If you said so, I would have---"

"Are you mocking me?" I said, pissed. "Do I look like I don't have the money? You know--"

"HE! He doesn't have anything to do with me going out. I did it on my own will. He just went out to get some soda for us so don't blame him." Dohee cut me off as she grabbed my arm telling me to stop it.

"Then why did you--"

"Oookay. Calm down now Minho-ssi. I-I am so sorry sir. If you need anything don't hesitate to call us. The last dose of medicine will be after 1 hour so we'll be back by then. For now, we'll be going." the girl nurse said bowing as she dragged the guy nurse.
