Chapter Thirty-FourFour months later after the hospitalization...
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?" Chanyeol oppa said with a sour face.
"I'll be fine." I replied as I packed my stuff. "There. I'm all ready." I tapped my luggage and smiled at him.
"You know what?"
"What?"
"I'll just go with you there. That's final." He suddenly proclaimed.
"No! You should stay here and manage your company. I don't want you to miss anything. Anyway, I'll be back after a year." I said. "Or maybe two."
He pouted and crossed his arms.
"Oh come on. We can talk everyday if you like." I said as I hugged him from behind.
He was acting like a stubborn child.
"We can face time everyday. I promise." I said.
He then turned back and hugged me.
"You promise?"
I nodded. "Eo. Pinky promise."
"Okay then. You should rest early. Your flight's 8am tomorrow right? We should wake up early and be there by 7." He said as he ruffled my hair.
"Ugh! Stop it."
"Tsk. You go to your room now. Rest." He said as he grabbed my luggage and put it aside.
"Alright. Good night oppa~" I replied and walked straight to my room.
I looked around my room and stopped at a wall where pictures were hanged on a vintage rope. They were all my memories as I stayed here. There were pictures where I took it with Hoshi, oppa, Anjae, Kat, and the rest of the gang. It was a sight to behold. I looked at our pictures when we went to the amusement park. Hoshi, me, Joshua and Woozi were on the picture. Our faces touching each other to fit on the camera's width. Our faces were funny and it was enough for me to chuckle by myself. I can't believe that I'm going to go back to New York. I felt like not going back, but sadly, I have to.
Four months have passed quickly after I was hospitalized. It was the best four months of my life since I spend it all hanging out with Hoshi and his friends. We all had great memories together during that span of time. I wish I could stay but work demands me to go back.
Between those months, when Joshua and I had a chance to talk personally, he asked me out again but I simply declined. I told him what I really feel. I told him that I was already over him. I told him that I already liked someone else tho I never told him who it was. Maybe he already knew since his expression became sour after I told him. He was still persistent. He said he'll still wait and hope for me. I don't know how to deal with him being stubborn so I just let him. At least I've already told him about my feelings.
Mingyu? He confessed to me. It was shocking for me since we're really close friends. I was speechless. Thankfully, he said he was never asking for an answer. He just wants me to know what his feelings are. He knows that I liked someone else and that he understands. We're still friends, we could even say that we're really really close friends now.
Hoshi, he's still caring as ever. He was always there for me and I couldn't really deny that he has already stolen my heart. He shows his love for me everyday and it was enough for me. We're not officially dating yet. Not because I don't like him enough, but because I wasn't ready yet and I'm afraid because if it doesn't work between us, I don't want to lose our friendship. We're still getting to know each other more. He was understanding and was willing to wait. Though we're not officially dating, he acts as if he's my boyfriend. We're like in a mutual understanding and it was alright for me.
