8: Introducing Them

Chapter Eight

"Oh my gosh!" I said in awe as I savor the cold air and the beautiful view of the Han River.

"This is amazing!" I added.

Hoshi just smiled while looking at the glorious river.

We did a stroll at the side of the river with a few people and bought some sweet stuffs at one corner.

It was really calming and I find it cute when Hoshi played with a little kid in a stroller when we walked passed them.

"That kid was so cute." He said like he didn't had enough pinching done with the kid.

"I pity that kid. You pinched his chubby cheeks a couple of times." I said while eating fried peanuts.

He grabbed some from the container and chuckled.

"His face was red when I left. He's so cute! He was laughing tho." He said.

I chuckled with him.

We saw a stall that let us rent bicycles. We walked in it and rented two bicycles.

We biked along the pathway with some people walking and some were taking a jog.

The wind was blowing and it was cold. Good thing we had our jackets on.

"Ahhh!" Hoshi groaned as he closed his eyes in pleasure, feeling the wind on his face.

"It's so cold. I'm starting to feel Christmas." He said as he opened his eyes and continued paddling.

I chuckled and paddled faster to catch up.

He was driving in zigzag and I feel nervous for him.

"Hoshi." I called.

"Hmm?" He answered without looking back. He continued his zigzag path.

"You better drive straight. It's really uncomfortable seeing you doing that." I said paddling gently to avoid hitting his bike.

"Oh. Okay." He said and drove straight.

We strode peacefully as we explored the scenes of the river. It was so calming.

We stopped at a store selling sweets so we bought a few and went to a near table.

We placed the bikes leaning on a tree as we sat at a nearby table.

"Hmmm, that candy looks yummy." I said as Hoshi placed the sweets on the table.

I grabbed the M&Ms while he grabbed the big chocolate bar.

"Sweets are my weakness." Hoshi said.

"I know they are." I commented.

"Jeonghan hyung would give me chocolate bars whenever I do an overnight work. It keeps me awake." He said.

"Oh. He's a friend. I'll let you meet my friends soon. We're 12 actually ... including Seungcheol hyung." He added.

"Oh. Okay. You can tell me what they are now though. I would really like it." I said.

"Oh. Okay. First, there's Seungcheol hyung, I guess you met him already. He might look serious and all but he's really caring and sometimes he acts childish too." He said stuffing some chocolate into his mouth.

I just nodded and rested my head unto my left hand.

"Then there's Jeonghan hyung. He's really caring and thoughtful. He takes care of all of us at work. He's like the umma of the group. You might be surprised when you see him. He's got long red hair." He said.
