Chapter 18

Maru's POV

"Maru, so how do we save your parents?" Natsu asked as we walked."First, we must go to one of the entrances, which is guarded by a reaper, but since my father worked with death magic he'll probably let us in." I said harshly.

"Calm your butt. Ok but we're just going to get your parents. Right?" Lucy asks. I shake my head. "No, we are going to defeat the King. Aka the man who caused my world to fall apart." I said looking for a dead tree.

"Um Maru, so we are going to an entrance right now?" Gray asked. So many questions today. "Ya, you got a problem?" I said.

"Uh, Yah!! We forgot all of our supplies we need!" Erza said. "If you bring any normal junk, like clothes and food, they will turn rotten. Except the clothes your wearing." I said examining the dead tree.

"An Entrance finally!" I shouted. "Um, how do you this is an entrance?" Erza asked. "My dad is---" I cut myself off with my hand. "Is--is-is um-um, is dead. Ya, dead. So he did stuff and ended up down there." I said with my best innocent act.

"I can sense that your not telling the truth, now tell us or we tickle you." Natsu said wiggling his fingers. "Ok, you'll find out sooner or later. It's Zeref." I said touching the dead tree. Wendy nearly fainted, Lucy kept hyperventilating , and Erza, Natsu, Gray, Charles, and Happy were flabbergasted.

"Ok, watch this. Zen,Aku,Hikari,Yami." I said at the tree. The branches twisted and turned making a portal. "Guys, let's go." I say holding the hand of Wendy. Since they were frozen, I pushed them in the portal. I jumped in also hearing screaming.

"TASKETE!!"

"YOU BAKA, STOP HITTING ME!!"

"HELP ME, MARU-CHAN!!"

Using my mothers flying powers, I landed safely while the others landed face planting. "Unfair! Now, what do we do." Gray said wiping his bare chest. I swear that guy is really really-- what am I thinking again?! "Ok, I need to contact Ryuk. He's--" I was cut of by Ryuk flying in front of me.

"Hi Ryuk. Guys this is Ryuk." I said pointing at him. "Hi Maru, your father told me so much about you. You have his fierce eyes and height. " He said patting my head.

"Ya, Ya. Now how do we get to my parents?" I said. "We need to go the castle. Duh, also do have an apple?" He asked. I got a small apple from my pocket and threw it at him.

"Hey! Ryuk, your the guy who attacked us!" Erza shouted. I gave Ryuk a stern look and shook his head. "Look Erza, I didn't hurt you guys. Even if I did, I need to work for the King to go to Earth." He said crossing his arms.

"Maru-chan, look." Wendy said letting go and pointing at the field. There was many defeated souls. Thanks Otuo and Oka-San.

"All right, all we need to do now is defeat the servants and guards of the King then--" Ryuk was cut off by two people, very familiar falling on him.
