Chapter 14 (Part 1)

I cried and cried all night. My father again left me, just like my mother giving me his key. At least I got to meet him. "Maru-Chan, you should be happy you met your father. Lisannna and Elfman, didn't meet ours yet." Mira said trying to cheer me up with cake.

"Maru, watch out!!" Lucy shouted when a barrel tried coming to me. I just made it stop using my wind powers and threw it to Natsu. "Hey, I know you sad but are you trying to kill me?" He said rubbing his head.

"No, I'll kill you whenever.." I said with a low voice and putting my head in my cake. "You Know, maybe a mission will cheer you up!" Gray said patting my back.

"Sure, let me get my bag." Cana gave a furry bag just like her with cards. Unlimited to be exact. "So where we going?" I asked limping. "Just to Dione City, outside of Fiore." Uh, that town. Even though it is nice, I was sick of the people keeping their energy high and asking us to buy things. Too Annoying.

"I'll be back in a sec." Erza said. She was probably getting her boat load of things. "Kay, I'm back. Lets go to the train." Natsu groaned and I limped walking.

"It's ok, you'll see him again, also your mother." I am so lucky I didn't mention my father's name. "Ok, Natsu and Maru, with Happy of course, stay there. Lucy , over there with me and Wendy, plus Charles. Gray with Maru, got it?" Erza said pointing to our seats.

We nodded. I sat next to Gray. I got lazy and let my head fall to his lap, and I laid on him. "It's ok, the mission will take your mind off it." He kissed my cheek and started rubbing my arm. I felt heat come to my cheeks.

Gray's POV

Why did I just kiss her? What has gotten into me??!!! She has a boyfriend, Gray. I look at her and she is just sleeping, how cute.

"Gray do you like her?" Happy whispered. I just shook my hand sideways. "So a little?" He said, I nodded.

I stopped rubbing her arm and looked outside the window. "Gray, it's nice. Keep your arm around me please?" Maru asked grabbing my arm and putting it around her.

"Sure." I just said.

*15 minutes later*

"We're here sleepyheads! Wake Up!" Maru shouted poking my head. I woke up from my nap, and stood up. I stretched and slipped over something. "Um Gray, your sitting on my back, my boobs are hurting." Maru said. I blushed and stood up helping her. She wiped off the dirt and walked ahead.

"What's the mission anyway?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "We just have to do something in the woods. But we fight people from a dark guild here. I think it's called Wolfs Howl. The people there are incredibly fast. They destroyed libraries, orphanages and parks. They plain have no honor." Erza spat.

Maru's POV

"We shall check into a hotel and look tomorrow. Today we can go sightseeing!" Lucy said. She grabbed Natsu and Happy and ran off. Erza went alone, also Wendy with Charles.

"So wanna join me?" Gray held his hand out. I nodded and grabbed it. We held hands until we stopped at an ice cream parlor. "Gray, I'll pay. What flavor do you want?" I said trying to find my wallet in my purse. "Vanilla, and I'll pay" he said holding money out"and what flavor?" He asked me. I laughed.

"I'll take Vanilla with Mango's please." I said in the cutest voice possible. "Kay, wait here." I sat on a brick thing around a random tree.

After 2 minutes Gray arrived with our ice cream in cones. "Here." He said. I grabbed it and licked. It was really Good. "Now, how about that sight seeing." He grabbed my free hand and dragged me to the shops. I went inside a local shop and had the cutest little knick-knacks.

"Maru, help?" Gray asked. He was stuck in some goop on the floor. I grabbed his free hand and pulled him towards me. "Don't step on that. It is magic consuming gel. Grabs any Mage and absorbs their magic." A small child says.

"Look around, just don't hit stuff." An older lady behind her said. The store was covered in flowers, had white walls, and has shelves everywhere.

While me and Gray were walking around, I spotted the cutest necklace. It had a sword on it. I grabbed it and put it on. Next I decided to get something for Rogue. I saw a cute plush dragon which was black. I held it, until I found a basket on the floor.

I spotted the perfect small backpack. It was black and had white hearts everywhere. I went to the cashier and only the girl was there.

"Miss, you can have that for free, also your friends stuff is also free." I smiled and stuffed all the things in my somewhat big bag.
