🔹Two years have passed since the Shinsengumi left. No other info was ever received after that letter from Yama-Chan.... But it's fine, the people of Edo have gotten used to the distant Mimawarigumi. Well at least some of us have.... Those bastards really try my patience! They always interfere with Odd Jobs work... At least with the Shinsengumi around, we'd still be able to do our job!! I swear, Isaburo is going to make me lose my hair!🔹
Kisa bites into her popsicle and smiles, "Ahhh so yummy! It's perfect for this ridiculous May weather.." "KISA!!!" The door is slid open and a worried looking teenage girl walks in. Her long vermillion colored hair runs past her shoulders and her tall frame hovers over Kisa, "Oh Kagura, what's up?" "What do you mean, what's up? I need your help!" Kisa stands up and laughs, "Yeah yeah I get it, you need me to do something with your hair, right?" Kagura nods her head and sits down. Kisa sighs, "You're only an inch taller than me, you 5"6 woman! I could have easily done it with you standing up." "But I'm too lazy to stand. Oh give me the Popsicle! I don't want it in my hair." Kisa looks at her skeptically, "Promise you won't eat it?" "Cross my heart." "I don't believe you, that was a very disingenuous cross my heart!" "Just give me the Popsicle!" Kisa and Kagura start wrestling over the melting Popsicle. "I knew it! You were looking for a chance to steal it!" "Why'd you go and take the last Popsicle!?" Kisa licks Kagura's hand, "Because I called dibs!" Kagura wipes Kisa's spit back onto Kisa's face, "There's no such thing!" "Fine then I got it first!" "And I'm going to eat it last!" "I don't think so!" This goes on for ten minutes and before they realized it, the Popsicle had already melted. Kisa sits up at stares at the red puddle, "Shit." Kagura sits up and starts laughing, "We forgot that it was going to melt-aru!" Kisa starts laughing as she wiped the puddle up. Gintoki walks in and yawn, "Have you guys seen the Popsicle in the freezer?" Kisa and Kagura look at each other and sadistically grin. Kagura stands up and pats his shoulder, "Poor Gin-Chan, he was too late." "Say what?" Kisa stands up next and puts a hand on his other shoulder, "Try harder next time, Kakashi*." That's when it struck him, he turns his head and finds the two girls running away, "YOU TWO ATE IT, DIDN'T YOU!!" Kisa and Kagura high five as they head to the convenience store.

"Yay! Nothing says victory better than a convenience store Popsicle!" Kagura takes a bite of hers and purrs in pure bliss, "It's so nice and cool! Perfect for this hot day!" Then two fist collide with the tops of their heads, "Yeah they are! That's why me and Pachi have no problem doing this." The Popsicles from the girls hands were already in Gintoki and Shinpachi's hands. Kisa and Kagura stare in horror as the two men ate their Popsicles. "M-my watermelon flavored Popsicle-aru!" "The perfect vanilla Popsicle... Gintoki.... YOU MONSTER!" Kisa and Kagura both attack Shinpachi and Gintoki, sending their Popsicles flying until they hit the floor. They all stare at the remains and then glare at each other. They were five seconds away from starting a huge fight but were interrupted by some unwanted company. "Well if it isn't the Odd Job Quadruple." "Oh it's Saki... What do you want?" "I was hoping to see you all still moping about the Shinsengumi being gone but I guess you got over it after 1 year." Kisa glares at him, "You annoy me, you know that." Gintoki puts a hand on her head, "Now now Kisa, don't get into any trouble. We don't need any trouble with these idiots right now. They're already bad for business." Isaburo sighs, "You want your business to flourish then bring me the Chief to the Shinsengumi... Or maybe you could bring me a replacement Chief just until he comes back." Kisa gets a brilliant idea, "We'll do it!" Kagura, Gintoki, and Shinpachi all look at Kisa in shock. "Who?" "The!" "Hell!" Kisa starts to laugh a very familiar laugh, "Ahahaha! Ahahaha! We'll do it and probably be way better!" "I see, so which one of you is the Chief?" Kagura, Shinpachi, and Kisa all point at Gintoki. Isaburo nods his head, "Fine, then the job is yours until they come back." They all stare at each other as he walks away. Gintoki stares at him, "I don't like how easily he gave us the jobs." Shinpachi adjusts his glasses, "For now we'll have to be on alert at all times. The Mimawarigumi is very unpredictable." Kisa tilts her head, "Isn't it strange that he came all the way over here without going inside?" Shinpachi looks at Kisa and nods his head, "Yeah it is... Perhaps he knew we were going to be over here and was waiting for us.." Kagura looks at Gintoki, "Gin-Chan could it be that they were responsible for the whole ChouChou thing?" Gintoki narrows his eyes, "I didn't think about that at all...." Kisa bites her lip, "Will we be next?" Gintoki sighs, "That won't happen... More like we won't let it happen. If the criminal runs then we let him run, there's probably a trap waiting for us if we followed him." All three nod as they agree with Gintoki.

They all go to the Shinsengumi Headquarters and change into their respective outfit. Kagura fixes her cravat and smiles, "We look better than those idiots did." Kisa smiles and stares at her reflection, "Yeah we do, don't we?" That's when Saitou walks into the room. Kisa smiles, "Oh Saitou, what can I do for you?" [ Are you sure you guys want to take responsibility for the Shinsengumi? ] Kisa nods her head, "Of course! It will be a pleasure working with you!" Saitou smiles, [ Then it's a pleasure working with you all! ] He leaves the room. Kisa and Kagura look at each other and smile. Kagura jumps up with excitement, "I'll make a good Demon Vice Chief-aru!" The two men enter the room and laugh. Shinpachi smiles, "Then I'll gladly take Yamazaki-San's job." Gintoki ponders for a moment and sighs, "Don't expect me to stalk Shinpachi's sister." "No one is expecting you to stalk Ane-ue!" Kisa smiles, "Then shall we head to work!"
