Their solemn mood is rudely interrupted by a series of honking. "Hah? Uh Kondo-San, Hijikata-San, that car isn't stopping." "Why the hell is there a car being driven on the docks for?! It's our first day back and we have people to arrest already!" Kondo laughs but then becomes deadly serious, "Sougo was right! It's not going to stop!" The four men jump out of the way and the car zooms right past them and lands straight into the ocean. Hijikata stands up, his mouth is agape, "Wasn't that a Mimawarigumi vehicle!" "Dammit Gin-San! You were supposed to stop the car!" "And I told you that I had no idea how to do that." Kisa face palms herself, "Who the hell steals a car they don't know how to drive!?" Otae whacks Gintoki on the head, "You owe me laundry money." Shinpachi sarcastically laughs, "That's an understatement! He owes us a whole new rack of clothing." "Oh Pachi? Did you shit yourself while you had to tuck and roll out of the car?" "No I didn't!" Kagura chuckles, "Gin-Chan, you knew how to stop the car. You just wanted to do something that pissed this bastards off." "See Kagura understands me!" Kisa sighs, "Where the hell did you even find the keys to that thing?" "They were in the ignition." All four stare at him in shock. "Kisa, Gin-Chan went full Grand Theft Auto on someone." "Not just a someone, but a police officer. Ane-ue, we need to leave. This man is highly dangerous!" Kisa laughs, "Well there's no better way to do it! Let's piss the whole Mimawarigumi off!" Kisa and Gintoki high five but are quickly slapped by Otae. The four men stare at the five in front of them. -"Those faces that once happily greeted you, won't happily greet you anymore."- Sad smiles spread across their faces. -"Hell I doubt they'll be there to greet you. They won't come to see you return. Why would they?"- Before one of them could open their mouths, Kisa turns her head and sees them. Her eyes widen and stayed glued onto them, then a soft smile spreads across her face, "Welcome Home." Relief washes over them as they realize that there was no way that they could've been hated. Yamazaki falls to his knees and starts laughing, "We're Home!" Otae smiles and runs over to Kondo, he braces himself for a hit but instead he gets a big overdue hug, "Welcome Back, Kondo-San." He wraps his arms around her and laughs, "I'm back, Otae-Chan!" Gintoki walks up to them as well and sighs, "Finally! Come take your damn jobs back already! I can't keep breaking men's spirits, it's too hard! And Kagura can't keep throwing people over walls!" "Over walls! What kind of police officer throws people over walls?!" "The kind who doesn't want to make anyone commit sepukku!" Shinpachi helps Yamazaki stand up, "Welcome Back, Yamazaki-San." "Thanks, Shinpachi-Kun and might I say that that outfit suits you well!" "Thanks!" Sougo looks at Kagura and nods his head, "China, I've seen that you've grown and matured. Good for you." "Sorry but I have a boyfriend, Sadist. But if you try my friend here then I think you'll be satisfied-aru." "I might do that." Kisa smiles and quickly runs into his arms, "Oomph! Damn Kisa, did you miss me that much?" Kisa holds him tighter, "Welcome home! Welcome Home! Welcome Home!" Sougo chuckles and wraps his arms around her, "I'm Home, Kisa." Hijikata sighs with relief, "Thank God that idiot didn't do anything." "Are you talking Sasaki?" Hijikata shakes his head, "Don't worry about it, white haired bastard..." "Hah? This is the kind of thanks we get for helping you guys out?" Hijikata's eyes twitch with anger, "Yes this is how I plan to repay you! Who told you to take over the Shinsengumi in the first place!" Kisa raises her hand, "Me! Only because Saki was pissing me off and we needed to get rid of them.... Not like they were any help in the first place." Sougo holds her face in his hands, "Where?" "Hm? Where what?" Sougo gently rubs her cheek, "Where did those bastards hurt you? What kind of damage did they do to you?" Kisa looks at him and gently smiles. She brings her hands to the bottom of kimono and starts to bring it up. Gintoki throws his hands over Hijikata's eyes, "KISA! SAVE THAT KIND OF STUFF FOR THE BEDROOM!" Kisa laughs and stops about 1/4 inches away from her panties. Her upper thighs were decorated with small white lines, some long, some really short but all glistened in the sunlight. "I guess you could say that I've got really bad luck." Sougo puts his forehead against hers, "Just tell me who did it and I promise I'll get him." "Sougo, you don't have to do that. Besides he won't hesitate to kill anyone in this group. Unless you're Yama-Chan and was actually spared by him." They all look at Yamazaki who immediately figured out who it was, "Kawakami Bansai.... That bastard is ruthless and not only that, he is part of the Kiheitai." Sougo growls, "So the bastard is affiliated with Takasugi? Cool, a two in one kill." Kisa rubs Sougo's arm, "It's okay, Sougo.. You don't have to worry about it. I was saved and that's all that should really matter." Hijikata rubs his temples, "Why exactly would Katsura save you?" "Well I mean it wasn't just Katsura. I was also saved by Saitou Nii-Chan." Hijikata sighs, "Good to know someone has been doing their job." Kisa smiles, "Isn't that what you guys were doing? Though the whole might have been a setup." Kondo stops hugging Otae and looks at Kisa, "What?" Gintoki yawns, "You heard her, a setup. Why else would Sasaki let us take over the Shinsengumi so easily?" Hijikata crosses his arms, "So we aren't the only ones who think that?" Kagura stretches, "Well whatever they want, they can't have-aru." Kisa giggles and keeps her hand on Sougo's arm. Sougo looks at her and many thoughts cross his mind. 🔺Ah she grew, she's no longer a midget.... And she's got more scars, why do I let these things happen? Why do I feel so distant from her? She's right here in my hands, she's literally touching me.... So why do I feel like I can't reach her?🔺 Yamazaki notices his troubled Captain. He sighs and walks over to them, "Captain Okita!" Sougo looks at Yamazaki, "What?" He grabs Kisa and pulls her away from him, "I don't think you deserve Kisa at all! So I'm taking her away from you!"
