I Wanna Be Helpful Too Pt. 3

"Great trapped again!" Kisa laughs as she pats Shinpachi's shoulder, "Don't worry, Shinpachi. We'll find another way out." Sougo rolls his eyes, "Is it me or is this damn room getting colder and colder." Kisa hugs herself and shivers, "Yeah it is... Maybe we should hurry and escape." Shinpachi looks around for a door but has no luck, "Um am I the only whose feet feel cold and wet?" They look at him disgustedly and then look at the floor which was now flooding with water. "Ehhhhh!!! He's trying to turn us to human Popsicles!" Shinpachi picks up Kisa bridal style and starts walking around the room, "Shinpachi, wh-what are you doing?" "Kisa-San I'll protect you this time! Not like those other times!" Kisa puts both hands on her mouth and stares at Shinpachi who is now all sparkly. Sougo stares at him and goes around touching the walls. He finds a piece that went in. He sticks his hand in and pulls a lever which reveals an opened door, "Found our way out." "Yay Sougo!" "Thanks Okita-San." They leave the room and Shinpachi sets Kisa down. She looks at him and pinches his cheek, "You're my hero, Shinpachi." He smiles and nods his head, "Anything to protect my older sister." Sougo stares at them, a familiar feeling filled his chest only he had no clue what it was. He couldn't tell if he was yearning for Kisa's touch or his sisters touch, but he wanted something that made him feel warm, comfortable, and safe. Kisa notices Sougo and walks over to him. She takes his hand and starts walking forward, "Shall we continue?" Shinpachi nods his head, "Of course." Kisa looks back at Sougo and smiles, "Don't worry, Sou-Chan. We'll get out of here in no time. So I'll keep you company till then." Sougo smiles, "Then do a good job at it." 🔺Ah this woman here is a mystery.. How could she tell I was feeling bad? It is very strange... She's got this strange hold on me.. I definitely am in love with this girl right here..🔺 Sougo squeezes her hand in which she returns.

"So this door says 'Not An Exit' and that one says 'Exit'..... I say we go out this one." Kisa points at the door that says not an exit. Shinpachi nods his head, "Yeah let's." Sougo looks at the exit and sighs, "Are you guys sure? This literally says 'Exit'." Kisa and Shinpachi look at Sougo and nod. "Okita-San this was made by an idiot." "And as experienced idiots, this is something we would do. The 'Exit' is a trap." Sougo opens the door, "Then idiots first." Kisa smiles, "Wow how gentleman like if you." "Thank you, Okita-San." They exit and are blinded by the sunlight. "Yay we made it!" Kisa throws her hands in the air and basks in the sunlight. She lays on the grass and starts laughing, "Sweet freedom!" Shinpachi decides to join her and smiles, "I have decided..." Kisa looks at Shinpachi, "On what?" "I'm going to ask May-San to marry me." Kisa throws her hands over her mouth as a big grin spreads across it, "Do it!" Sougo sits next to Kisa and plays with her sprawled out hair. Shinpachi looks at the clouds and nods his head, "I am... I realized that there's no time like the present and plus I want her to be with me in the future so I plan on living for the future as well!" Kisa recalls a certain issue that happened awhile back and smiles, "Yeah me too... I'll live in the present and live for the future..." Sougo undoes the ponytail and twirls her brown locks around his fingers, "I love Past, Present, and even Future you, correct?" Kisa smiles in bliss, "Yep...." Shinpachi points at a cloud, "Doesn't that look like two rings?" "Yeah they do! And those ones look like a baby!" Shinpachi and Kisa smile as they point out the oddly shaped clouds. 🔺Where did that even come from? I love past, present, and future you? I feel like I've heard it before but I can't recall..🔺 "Shinpachi, I think you'll make May very happy... Well I mean she's already happy but I guess make her even happier?" Shinpachi sticks his hand up to the sky and nods, "I can do that." Kisa sticks her hand up as well and observes the sunlight that hits her hand. Sougo puts his hand over hers and smiles. Kisa looks at him and grins, "You'll live for the future too, right?" Sougo nods his head, "Nothing will stop me from seeing the future." He laces his fingers between hers and lays down on the grass, "Nothing." Kisa closes her eyes and smiles, "That's good then..." Shinpachi closes his eyes and rests his hands on his chest, "What a nice day to propose..." Kisa giggles as she feels herself drift off into a light sleep. Sougo closes his eyes and drifts off into a peaceful sleep.
- "This woman right here in front of your eyes is ready to be by your side for the rest of your life. So why are you hesitating? Take this chance and tell her." Sougo stares at Hijikata and pops the bubble he makes with his gum, "Coming from the one who completely turned down Ane-ue." "I had my reasons! You on the other hand have no excuses. She's got no problem with facing danger. Hell she gets herself into those situations." Sougo stares at Kisa who is leisurely napping at the Shinsengumi Headquarters. Hijikata lights a cigarette and takes a deep puff, "It's your choice. You don't have to take my advice but once she sees those other idiots getting married and having families, she'll start wanting one. And if you don't want to provide what will that do to her?" Sougo runs a hand through his hair and sighs, "How annoying... If only time would've stopped when we left." "But that's not the case... And now the White hair bastard is in a relationship, China has a boyfriend, Shinpachi has a girlfriend.... Hell even Kondo-San and Otae-San are getting serious... And two of those people could already be on the verge of marriage." Sougo touches Kisa's forehead which makes her smirk, "Don't worry, Yama-Chan.... I don't have a fever... I just ate too much pudding." "Well you could always hand her over to Yamazaki. I bet he'll marry her within a split second." Sougo slams his hands down, "I'll be the one who'll become this drooling idiots husband!" "See that's not hard to say now is it?" Sougo looks at Kisa and makes a perplexed face, "I'll do it... I'll tell her.."-

May squeals in delight as Shinpachi asks her the serious question. She tackles him in a hug and tears stream down her face. Gintoki rolls his eyes, Tsukuyo nudges his side and claps her hands together. Kagura smirks as the happy celebration begins. Kisa giggles as the two stand up and hug. She tugs at Sougo's kimono and stares at him. "What?" "I wanna hug too." Sougo wraps his arms around her and buries his face into her hair, "Better?" "Hehehe, I'm much better. Thank you." Gintoki stares at the two but averts his attention over to Tsukuyo who kept pinching his sides, "Dammit woman! What?!" She looks at the ground blushing, "I-I-I wanna hug too...." Gintoki blushes as he wraps his arms around her, "The-there is that better?!" "I feel much better now, Gintoki.." Kagura gags as all the couples hug, "It's no fair, my boyfriend isn't here-aru!" They all start to laugh as Kagura starts throwing rice at everyone and then Sougo and her get into a fight. "Don't destroy my house!" Gintoki jumps into the fight trying his best to break it up. Kisa looks at Shinpachi and smirks, "Wanna join?" "No!" "Hahaha!! Didn't think so!"
