Zero clutched Scar's body, trembling with broken sobs. The ringing in his ears, loud and shrill.
Rido laughed at the seen.
"Pathetic hunter" he sneered, Zero looked up, malice and hate had replaced the sadness in his eyes.
" I'll kill you" he snarled and lunged desperately at Rido, each time getting knocked down until he stood doubled over, panting in front of him. Headmaster was gone, finding Yuki and kaname most likely.
"Zero~" he looked down in shock, the bloody rose.... It was glowing bright blue. A mirage appeared before him suddenly, it was Scar. She smiled comfortingly before wrapping her arms around him and disappearing.
"Together" she whispered.
Thorns rapped around his body like just last year, but they weren't the same, they were bright blue now.
What seemed like hours to Zero were only seconds as Rido lunged at him in rage.
" DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME HUNTER!!"
Zero dodged to the right and clutched the bloody rose.
" Time to die, beast" he growled.
