My parents arrived home on the weekend before the show. They were as excited as I was at the prospect of seeing such a brilliant musical, though I was more interested in seeing Arthur perform. Mum had insisted we dressed up for the occasion and I reluctantly agreed. "It's the theatre, [Name]. Don't you want to look nice?" She said as she put on her pearl earrings. I sighed. I had never really liked wearing dresses that much, but Mum did have a point. 'I wonder if Arthur will like it,' I thought as I put on the silk dress.

After putting on a little make up (remember: less is more – A/N) and fixing my hair, I made my way downstairs. As I walked, I heard a small gasp and I looked up to see Mum and Dad gazing at me in wonder. "Sweetie, you look absolutely beautiful!" Mum tearfully hugged me and Dad smiled, opening the front door for us. "Now if Elizabeta was here then we'd have a full family event." Dad commented.

"I wish she was, we'll have to Skype her soon," I said and Mum nodded in agreement.

"We'll have to thank Arthur for the tickets as well, when we see him," Dad said as we got into the car.

As we drove, I quickly sent Arthur a text, though I doubted he would reply.

Me: Hi, we'll wait for you after the show, probably in the lobby. Can't wait to see you :)

As we waited in the theatre lobby, I checked my phone to see if Arthur had replied to my message. I glanced at the time. The doors would open in about 5 minutes.

Arthur: Great, I'll meet you asap after the show. I can introduce you to everyone :)

I grinned and texted back.

Me: Wow! Thanks :D Will be cheering you on in the show ;)

He didn't reply back but I didn't mind; I knew where to meet him and that's all that mattered. "Ladies and gentlemen, the doors are now open and the performance will start in 30 minutes." The doorman spoke and people began to move towards various doors that led to the auditorium. "I didn't realise we had to wait so long," I said.

"Yes, but at least we have plenty of time to get refreshments and do a toilet stop," Mum said casually. I groaned a little at Mum's openness and lack of privacy. "[Name], would you like anything?" Dad asked, about to queue up for food and drink.

"Hmm, I think I'm alright. I bought a bottle of water earlier so I'm all set," I replied. Dad nodded and joined the line saying that he 'fancied ice cream'. "Have you been to the toilet, [Name]? The show will be very long," Mum asked worriedly.

"No, I'll go now," I said.

After I came back, we had a look around the merchandising stalls. "Right, shall we go and find our seats?" Dad asked, looking at his watch. I nodded and we walked up the stairs to the dress circle. I was surprised at how good our seats were and felt eternally grateful to Arthur for being so generous. Large red curtains hung from the stage ceiling and a full orchestra was situated in the pit. I gazed in awe and couldn't believe we were sitting right at the front, in clear view of the stage. 'Arthur, you're the best!' I thought and was practically jumping up and down in my seat waiting for the show to begin.
