I was glad that Arthur had struck up a conversation about music, since I couldn't think of anything to talk about. We talked about our likes, our dislikes and I was surprised to find out that he had a wide taste in music, ranging from hip-hop to blues. He even started singing one of his favourite Led Zeppelin songs 'Stairway to Heaven' to which I ended up playing air guitar to once the song got into full swing. I was enjoying Arthur's company so much that I completely forgot about my nervousness and by the time we arrived at the venue, I was ready to enjoy myself. Arthur got out and opened the door for me, reaching out his hand to help me out. "Thank you," I said, unable to stop smiling.

"You're quite welcome, Love," He grinned. "Shall we?" He said, holding his arm out for me to take. I giggled at how charming he was and linked my arm with his as we gracefully made our way to the doors. The building was a red and white Georgian mansion with many steps leading up to the large, golden brown doors. There were a lot of cars parked on the wide gravel driveway and I could already hear the thumping beat of the music from outside as we made our way to the entrance. 'Am I dressed for this kind of party?' I thought, a little unnerved by the vibe I was getting from the building. Arthur squeezed my hand in reassurance and I felt safe knowing he was here beside me. The doors opened.

Bright disco lights flooded the room as I stared in amazement at the crowd on the dance floor. If it wasn't for the music and the disco dancing, I would have called it a ballroom. It even felt a bit like a castle, with the large marble platform that we were standing on and red carpeted stairs curving down to the dance floor. All the side-doors were open, leading to (I assumed) food tables and the gardens at the back of the mansion. "What was the occasion again?!" I shouted over the music.

"Not a clue!" Arthur shouted back, shrugging his shoulders. I looked across the room and spotted Monica walking out of one of the side-doors. "I see Monica!" I shouted, pointing in her direction. Arthur followed my finger and nodded, taking my hand and pulling me with him.

"Ahh, it's good to actually be able to hear myself think now," Arthur sighed in relief as the sound began to die down when we walked into the next room. The food tables were all laid out at the side, leaving plenty of walking space in the open hallway. I saw Monica chatting with a group of friends a few metres away.

"Monica!" I called. She turned around and waved us over as she spoke to a few other people. "[Name]! Fancy seeing jou here," She jested and winked at me. "Everyone! I'd like to introduce jou to my dear freund[1], [Name]," She smiled, bringing me forward into the group. I smiled shyly and waved. I'd never really liked being the centre of attention so I felt a little awkward standing there with everyone staring at me. "VHAT'S UP, FRÄULEIN[2]?! IT MUST BE AN HONOUR TO FINALLY MEET ZEE AWESOME GILBERT!" A loud, eccentric man jumped forward and shook my hand vigorously. "U-um, it's nice to meet you?" I said, unsure of how to respond. "STOP FRIGHTENING ZEE POOR GIRL!" Ludwig shouted from behind him, yanking 'Gilbert' back by his collar. I laughed at the two brothers arguing and Monica rolled her eyes at her brother's immaturity. "Jou vouldn't believe he's zee eldest, vould jou?" She asked, wearing a look that was worth 10 face palms.

"No way!" I laughed. "Wow..." I ended up having the same expression as Monica and rolled my eyes along with her.

Arthur introduced we to everyone else in the group while the Beilschmidts sorted themselves out. I recognised Lovino and Antonio, and found out that the Italian had a twin brother, Feliciano. It was funny how different they were, considering they were twins. The main thing they had in common was whenever they saw a beautiful girl walk past, they would both stop whatever they were doing and quickly go and flirt with her, regardless of the situation. Antonio was with his girlfriend, Emma (who looked absolutely stunning!) and her two brothers, Abel and Henri. "Since when have you had a girlfriend, Spaniard?!" Arthur shouted in surprise.
