-----------Time skip to day of sleep over-----------

Elizabeta was driving us over to Amelia's house for the sleepover. I found out later that Amelia had also organised this as a farewell party because she and Alfred were going back to America soon. They were currently staying at their holiday home. I was bobbing my head to the music on the radio and I just happened to lay eyes on a person walking by. My eyes widened in shock and horror. It was Olivia. She had recently sent me a friend request on Facebook, which I had immediately declined, and every now and then I would catch glimpses of her as if she were a constant reminder of dark times lurking about. As we drove past, I sunk down into my seat and pretended to scratch my head to cover my face. When we passed her, I breathed a sigh of relief. "I hope she didn't see us," I mumbled fearfully.

"Who didn't see us?" Liz asked. I glanced over at her, debating whether or not I should tell her. 'It's Arthur's personal information, is it really my place to say anything?' I thought. 'But, Elizabeta won't say anything' I reasoned. I knew I could trust Liz. "Promise you won't tell this to anyone?" I asked. She nodded, her face becoming more and more confused.

"The woman on the pavement just then...she's Arthur's ex-girlfriend," I said.

"Ah," She frowned a little.

"Yeah. Art told me to avoid her because she's trouble but we don't know why she's hanging around here. He said she might be up to something so I should be careful," I explained. Liz nodded.

"It's lovely that he cares so much about you," She smiled.

"Did you even hear what I just said?" I asked, bewildered at her statement.

"Of course, but I'm just saying, it shows that he loves you," She giggled. I blushed. "Oh, and you gave him a pet name! That's so cute!" She teased.

"I-It's not a p-pet name!" I cried. "It's just a nickname! All my friends have nicknames for me!" I defended.

"Oh yeah? What's the 'nickname' he gives you?" She asked, quoting the word 'nickname' with her fingers on the steering wheel. I blushed even more.

"He calls me...'Love'..." I mumbled, hoping she wouldn't hear. She burst out laughing.

"I told you! Pet name!" She laughed.

"Alright, alright! Sh-Shut up!" I pouted, my face still bright red.

"Pet name, pet name! You've got a pet name~" She sang. I frowned and turned away. 'She can be so immature!' I mentally grumbled. She giggled as we pulled into the Jone's drive. I suddenly realised something. "Wait a second. Why does Alfred have a different surname, even though he's part of the Kirkland family?" I asked, completely baffled.

"Ooh~ Trying to change the subject, are we?" Liz teased. I rolled my eyes.

"No, I'm genuinely curious," I said. My sister calmed down and stopped laughing.

"Well, Alfred is...a special case," She chuckled. "When he was 16 years old, he was still obsessed with superheroes and he also had a cousin, whose surname was Jones, who he admired a lot...so much, in fact, that he decided to change his surname to that of his cousin, which also happened to be the 'undercover name' of one of his favourite superheroes. I guess it just sorta stuck," She giggled.

"That's so...Alfred..." I said. I was kind of surprised and yet, I felt as though I saw this coming. "So, Amelia kept the name as well?" I asked.

"Well, Jones is quite a common surname anyway and hers just so happened to be Jones. So, of course, she didn't have to change her name," My sister explained. I nodded.
