---------2 days later----------

Elizabeta had arrived the day before with her husband, Roderich (Hungary x Austria, I ship them so much :P – A/N), and were spending the day visiting old friends. Dad had returned from the hospital and was doing much better but still couldn't do anything physical. Mum needed extra help around the house and so had taken a few days off work to do most of the caring. We'd all helped out with the main jobs the day before, so now Mum had let us have the day off. I was going to stay and help anyway but I had received a call from Amelia telling me that Arthur was not answering his phone and hadn't been replying to any of her messages. She'd been trying to get her camera back all week but couldn't contact him. "Since you live so close to him, could you just check to see if he's still alive?" She chuckled but I could tell she was a little worried. Although part of me was suspicious that she was telling me to go over. But I was worried about him, he hadn't replied to any of my texts either. "Yeah, I'll go and check on him," I said.

So here I am now, outside Arthur's door, waiting for him to open it. After 5 minutes of waiting, knocking and ringing the doorbell, I was just about ready to leave but then the door slowly swung open. I gasped. Arthur stood there with a red snotty nose, watery eyes, a pale face and still in his button-pyjamas with a blanket wrapped around him. "Arthur! Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry!" I turned around and walked closer but he put his hand up.

"Don't apologise. I'm sick, so don't come near me..." He spoke groggily, his voice was low and hoarse. He shuffled back inside and I followed. "You should go home, Lub (Love)," He said but I shook my head.

"No, you really look terrible. The least I can do is help you out," I said sternly and he looked at me with surprise.

"I don't want you to-" I cut across him.

"You're terribly sick. You need someone to look after you so I'll help. Have you vomited today?" I asked. Arthur looked shocked at how blunt I was but he nodded. I frowned. "How long have you been like this?"

"The runny nose and sore throat started yesterday so I tried to cook some soup...And I think I gave myself food poisoning..." He looked at the floor glumly. 'Cue poker-face' I thought.

"Okay then," I sighed. "Go and get into bed and I'll make you something. Since you've been sick already, your stomach should be fine now, so you only have to shift the cold." He nodded slowly.

"Trust me to get a cold in summer..." Arthur grumbled as he trudged upstairs.

"You'll be fine," I chuckled and headed towards the kitchen. As I boiled water in the kettle I couldn't help giggling at how cute he looked, even though he's sick. 'He wears Union Jack pyjamas! That's so adorable' I thought, smiling to myself as I picked out a mug and put a small amount of salt into it. As I poured the hot water into the mug, I took my phone from my pocket and clicked on Mum's phone number. I heard the 'call' buzzing sound as I held the phone to my ear and moved to put the various items onto a tray for Arthur. 'Glass of water, some painkillers, and some lozenges' I listed the items in my mind and waited for Mum to answer. "Hello?" Her voice spoke.

"Hi, Mum," I said cheerfully.

"Hello dear, is everything alright?" She asked.

"Well, Arthur's really ill and he had food poisoning the day before. Do you mind if I stay and look after him?" I asked. 'Please say yes' I thought hopefully.

"Oh my goodness! Of course, [Name]. In fact, I'm just cooking some chicken soup for your father, if you want I can put some in a container and you can come and pick it up for Arthur," She said.
