Steve Rogers + Child

-Getting raised in Brooklyn and being just as proud of it as your dad is, well almost as proud. No one can actually be as proud of Brooklyn as Steve is.

-Having Nat, Sam and Bucky around for your entire childhood. Sam and Bucky fight over which one of them you like the best, but in reality Nat will always be your favorite and she knows it.

-Having to experience the awkward moment of learning about your dad and his friends in history class.

-Bucky telling you stories about all of the times Steve got himself into trouble when they were kids.

- Steve making sure that you know how to hold your own in a fight. Not because he wants you to get into any fights or be in danger at all, but because he wants you to be prepared and know that you can take care of yourself.

-Steve can be kind of a protective father, but not so much that you feel smothered or irritated by it. He is also still respectful of your space and choices.

-Steve and Bucky going all "old-men" on you when they start to talk about the old days, and of course you and Sam making fun of them for it.

-Sam trying really hard to be the cool uncle, Nat actually being the cool aunt without any effort at all.

-Even though he'd been living in the 21st century for quite a while by the time that you were a teenager he's still confused by a lot of what you say and do. He spends a lot of time asking Nat for help understanding and she spends most of that time laughing at him.

-Steve eventually figuring out Facebook and it being the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you.

-Steve keeping every project/paper you got a good grade on, every award you have won, and every drawing from when you were little. He also has likes to take pictures of you at every important event and put them up all around your home.

-Steve insisting on family meals, because they were a big part his childhood and he doesn't think people consider them important anymore.

-You would (most likely) never tell him, but you actually think that your dad being Captain America is really cool. You're really proud of him and what he's done for the world.
