-The two of you meeting because he found you via Cerebro while he was looking for other mutants, before the missile crisis.
-Charles promising, early on in your relationship, that he would stay out of your head and he hasn't ever broken that promise.
-Helping him start the school, supporting him as the school grows and even teaching at the school yourself.
-Standing by his side through everything. When he's paralyzed, loosing Raven and Eric, the school shutting down during the war, and everything else that has been thrown at him.
-Loving listening to his voice
-Learning a ridiculous amount of information about human genetics, not because you've done the research, but because he talks about it all of the time.
-Trying to hide from your students occasionally so that you can sneak a kiss or two
-The two of you acting like your relationship is a big secret from the students, but honestly that's not the case at all. Pretty much all of them learn about the two of you being together during their first week at the school.
-Him taking your hand in his and rubbing his thumb lightly over the back of your hand
-Getting lost in those perfect eyes of his at least once a day
-Sitting on opposite sides of the same desk as you both grade papers, usually with snacks in the middle of the desk.
-Occasionally (and by occasionally I mean all the time) having to literally drag him away from his work and to bed, because he has tendency to work far too late into the night. He'll start working on something, get absorbed in it and next thing you know it's 2AM and he has to teach a class in six hours.
-The night tables on either side of your shared bed both have a mountain of books on them because you are both obsessive readers.
-Him considering himself beyond fortunate to have you in his life, and constantly telling you so
-Poking fun at him occasionally for the pick-up lines that he used to use
-Once a month the two of you are able to take a night off away from the school and Charles always uses this night as an opportunity to take you out for a date. First he takes you out for dinner, going to different restaurants all the time so that you both have the opportunity to try new things. Then the two of you will go to the theatre for a live show or go see a movie, something that he knows you will both enjoy.
