I never did mind doing anything you wanted from me,
A clever spell was cast over my eyes leaving them to never see,
There was no longer a difference in a forever spent happily and the fruit of a deadly tree.
In my spell I fell into your arms,
I looked at you and your words held powers like charms.
I broke for you,
I spoke in support for you.
I loved you,
As if my love for you was the only thing I knew.
But soon you didn't want anything from me,
And through the blinding fog I could see hatred.
You never did actually leave me,
I was the one who decided to flee.
I couldn't stand by someone who thought I was worthless,
Why?
Because those thoughts would poison my mind until it was deserted.
I ran,
But those thoughts flew,
Right into my mind,
And took over making me into something brokenly new.
