You were like a castle,
Walls covered in a light pastel.

And the sun shines through the window,
And you stood at the door hand held out like a hero.

You loved me,
Said I was the only light you could see.

I loved you cause you were like a rainbow that shined every color,
You made my past look so much duller.

Yet red loved turned to burning hate,
Blue eyes turned to a terrible fate,
Yellow flowers turned to burning flower fields,
Green grass scrapes turned to wounds left unhealed,
And every color shined even brighter,
Took defense and became a fighter.

Attacked my soft light,
But if you set me on fire,
Then you better run.

Because I'll stand at your castle wooden castle doors and let my fire silently fight.
Until the sky is filled with smoke as dark as my burnt out light.
