Chapter 12-Cheat

Emily's POV

Nobody from J troupe has been out and it had been a week. This means that there's no way Riley's going to get in unless I take action. I can't do this myself because they days that B are there J aren't and vice versa. Maybe Chloe can help. U get out my phone and dial her number.
"Hey Emily," she says.
"Hey ummm I need you to do me a favour about ri but you can't tell her," I say.
"K what is it."
"Kate says that if anyone drops out of J ri is promised a place but nobody has so I need you to make sure someone does."
"K so should I drop out?"
"No like injure someone but don't tell her."
"OK," she says, sounding unsure. I then hang up. I know I shouldn't do this, I'm being a bit of a cheat, but in doing this for Riley. Hopefully she won't find out.

I come into studio and can't wait until tomorrow when it's J troupe's day of rehearsal. Then, Chloe can get someone out of J troupe so Riley can get in. I want Riley to be happy, not stuck at home and never able to be a dancer like she wants to be.

~~~THE NEXT DAY~~~

Chloe's POV
Emily told me to get someone off J troupe so Riley can get on. I don't know what I am supposed to do. I know its wrong but I'm doing it for Riley and I want her on J troupe.
"James!" I call. He looks confused then comes over to me.
" 'sup," he says.
"Look, I don't know what to do because Kate promised Emily that if anyone dropped out of J then Riley could go in but nobody has dropped out so she told me to get someone kicked out and I don't know what to do!"
"Why're you asking me?"
" 'cos you're pretty much the only person I talk to here since Riley's gone."
"That's just sad. Anyways, what do you actually want me to do?"
"Help!"
"OK, so what does that mean?"
"Uuuuuggg forget it Riley can stay at home her whole life and never dance again." I then walk off. He can be really annoying sometimes. Well...all the time. I hope Emily hasn't told Riley about this promise because otherwise, I'm a bad friend.
"Guys!" Kate shouts walking in the room," so you may have noticed that Rose isn't here today. It's because she broke her leg which means we need a replacement and her replacement is Riley!" Then Riley comes in and I've been this happy to see her.
"Riley!" I scream, flinging my arms around her.
"You have your sister to thank for that one," Kate laughs. Phew. I don't need to get myself into trouble for Riley. I honestly don't think I would have done that anyway!
"Does Emily know you're in?" I ask.
"No, but thank you," she says.
"What for?"
"Getting me into J."
"I didn't."
"You did, Emily told me you were going to get someone kicked out so you did."
"I didn't do that, I would never break someone's leg on purpose."
"Chloe, there's no point in lying, of course you did. Thanks anyway." She then runs off to stretch. Does Riley really think I would do that?
