The Real Love Story

TRLS 18

[Scarlette's POV]

I sat there in complete distress as I watch the door closed. I didn't know what to say or if I am even allowed to utter a word. Until Alexander stood up and immediately run to the door to probably chase her. And that is when I snap back to reality. 

He chased her. Of course, he will chase her! That's Sharmaine we are talking about! He was probably explaining why am I here or whatever we are doing earlier like a man guilty for cheating.

If he does, then he is the most stupid person I know. He isn't cheating, heck, they were over! I don't even understand why he followed her. 

Oh right, she is his first love. 

Suddenly, I felt a pang of unknown feeling inside me. Like the way it felt watching Dalton left yesterday. Then I remembered Alexander's laugh, and I feel the way I felt when Kevin showed up months ago. It was annoying to discern two feelings at the same time. 

I stood up and immediately grabbed my things. I didn't even bother to change my clothes or to wash my face as I walk to the door, ready to leave. 

Mabilis akong lumabas ng unit niya at nakita ko sila sa di kalayuan na nag-uusap. Pareho silang nakatagilid sa akin kaya hindi nila ako nakita. Mabilis akong umikot at sa ibang hallway dumaan. Nung marating ko ang elevator ay doon ko lang na-realize na nagpipigil pala akong huminga. 

I feel so crappy and I don't know why. The thought of him leaving me for someone else--for Sharmaine makes me want to flip. 

For some unknown reason, I felt used. Just because she came doesn't mean he will forget about me. 

"Argh!" I frustratedly shuffled my hair. 

Really, I don't mind if he didn't choose me! I wasn't even one of the option! Heck, I don't want to be part of their goddamn game. He can always run back to her and I don't care! 

Shannon Guevarra calling...

"What!" I spatted as I answered the call.

[Whoa, there! Where are you?] 

"Why?" I answered as I slid into my car. 

[Bar later. 9 pm. See you.] 

Yun lang ang sinabi niya at pinatay agad ang tawag. Napailing nalang ako. Bakit ba ang daling maka-sense ng babaeng yun pag may problema ako?

9 pm came and I am all ready. I wore a black halter top and a white ripped shorts paired with my black converse shoes. My hair is in a messy bun and I didn't wore any make up. 

"Naks, feel na feel ah?" Nakakalokong bungad sa akin ni Shannon nung sumakay ako sa kotse niya. 

Inirapan ko siya.

"What's up? Bakit ka nagyaya?" Tanong ko sa kanya at ngumisi naman siya sa akin.

"Well, I've heard someone is in talking terms with her Dad so..." 

I rolled my eyes again with her remarks. 

"Seriously, Sha. You need to get laid," 

"Whoa, there! Talking like no virgin. Come on..." She stated at napatawa naman ako. 

"You need to get a life, tho. Stop being nosy." 

"Carleey, it's all over the family! I can't help it! Maraming tao ang nag-aabang sa mga mangyayari sa buhay mo. You can't just expect me to shut up. Ha ha."
