"So, how was your date?" Edaline was sitting in an armchair, waiting for Sophie to return.
"Oh, it was great! We went to Atlantis, where we went to this amazing restaurant, and it was just amazing!" Sophie gushed. She'd never been to girly, but she couldn't stop herself from squealing, giggling, and jumping up and down.
"That's wonderful, Sophie. Do you think Fitz is the one?" Edaline asked.
"Yeah. Even if he wasn't at the top of my scroll, I still think that he would have been the one." Sophie smiled. She remembered when she was younger, and how she had dreamed about her and Fitz being together. Now, that childhood dream was actually becoming a reality.
"I'm so happy for you." Edaline smiled.
"Thanks. I'm kinda tired, so I'm just going to head up to my room." Sophie said.
"Okay. Good night, Sophie." Edaline said.
"Good night."
As Sophie walked up the stairs, all she could think about was her date. She really did wonder what would have happened if they weren't on each other's scrolls. Everyone had noticed the chemistry between the two of them, and pointed it out. Fitz and Sophie did have an unbreakable bond, and Sophie hoped that them being together would make that bond even stronger.
As she changed into her pajamas, and lay down in her canopy bed, images of teal eyes and a movie star smile filled her mind as she drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, back at Foxfire, Biana wouldn't stop pestering Sophie about their date.
"So how was it? Fitz won't stop talking about it and you, and I wanted to know what you thought." Biana said innocently.
"It was good, I had fun." Sophie said.
"Sophie! Elaborate!"
"Well, we went to Atlantis..." Sophie trailed off. It was kinda fun watching Biana squirm.
"Sophie Elizabeth Foster! Tell me something I don't know!" It seemed like Biana was getting mad, so Sophie told her more.
"So, we went out to dinner at this really cool restaurant, and we talked for a little bit. It wasn't too much, but I had a lot of fun." Sophie smiled.
"Cool! Fitz wouldn't stop talking about it. He was super nervous cause he wanted you to like it. It was pretty funny." Biana said.
Sophie laughed. "I hope you don't mind me saying this, but I think your brother is the one."
"No, it's okay. And come on, you both know you were meant to be together." Biana said.
"I guess so. Oh, and how are you and Keefe?" Sophie said.
"Oh, we're good. We're going on a date soon. We don't know exactly when, but we're trying to figure out a time when we're both free." Biana smiled.
"Biana, that's great!" Sophie said. She really did feel happy for her friend.
"Yeah, I'm so excited!" Biana said.
"Cool. Well, I've got to get to class, but we'll talk more after, okay?" Sophie said.
"Sounds great. Do you want to come to my house after school?" Biana said.
Sophie nodded. "Yeah. I haven't been there in a while, so it will be nice to see your parents again."
As the two friends parted ways, Sophie thought about what Biana had said about how she and Fitz were meant to be. She hadn't been sure, but by the looks of things, most signs pointed to yes.
