"Are you guys ready?" Dex asked, walking up to Biana and Sophie. It was the night of their graduation, and they were all dressed in their silver uniforms, wearing them one last time.
"Yeah, I think so. I hope everything runs smoothly." Biana said, rubbing her hands together nervously.
"Oh, it'll be fine. Thanks to you, we have everything worked out perfectly." Sophie said, smiling at Biana.
Magnate Leto chose that moment to come backstage and address the graduating students.
"Okay, five minutes, everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I couldn't be more proud of all of you. You've all been a pleasure to have here, and I wish you all luck in the future. Good luck, and just have a great time." Magnate Leto said, and proceeded to the stage, to announce the start of the show. The lights flashed off for a few moments, and then music started blasting, cueing the first group. First came the Flashers, creating a show of light. Then the Gusters, followed by the Frosters, and then the Technopaths, Dex one of them. Every group showed their talents in amazing ways.
Then came the Vanishers, blinking in and out of sight. The Empaths, showing their skills. Then was the Telepaths, projecting images from their minds onto paper.
After every group had went, Sophie teleported onto the stage, ready to perform the grand finale of the show. she twirled and danced around the showing off her talents, a Telepath, Polyglot, and Inflictor. After a beautiful display, she continued to teleport off the stage, ending the show with a flourish. The crowd went up in cheers as the lights went off, and back on as Magnate Leto announced the end of the show.
Backstage, everyone got their stuff, and went to meet their families. Grady and Edaline, along with Alden, Della, Fitz, and Keefe, came backstage to greet Sophie and Biana.
"Sophie, you were absolutely amazing!" Grady said, hugging Sophie.
"Thanks, Grady." Sophie said.
"Yes, wonderful job. You looked great out there." Edaline said, smoothing Sophie's hair.
"Thanks." Sophie said, hugging Edaline.
Fitz had started to walk over to where Sophie and her parents were standing.
"Sophie, you did such a great job." Fitz said.
"Thanks. We really worked hard on it, and I'm just glad that everything went okay." Sophie said.
"It went better than okay." Fitz said.
Sophie leaned in to hug Fitz. Fitz wrapped his strong arms around her, and they stood there for a moment, wrapped in each other's embrace.
They finally broke apart when the rest of Fitz's family had started to walk over.
"Great job, Sophie." Alden said, and Della nodded.
"You looked wonderful." Della added.
"Thank you both." Sophie said, hugging them quickly."
"Yeah, you did look great. Your performance was so good!" Biana said.
"Thanks Biana. And you did so well too!" Sophie said, hugging her friend.
"Good job, Foster. Congrats on finally being done with this place." Keefe said.
"Thanks, Keefe." Sophie laughed. Keefe always had a way of making situations, well, Keefe-ish.
Everyone walked to Foxfire's Leapmaster together, as a huge family.
"Hey, Sophie?" Fitz said.
"Yeah?" Sophie said.
"I know you just finished graduation and you're probably tired, but I just wanted to ask about maybe starting to plan our wedding soon." Fitz asked hopefully.
"I'd absolutely love to."
