"Well, let's go home Jessica." Mom said smiling.
"Yeah, just give me a minute." I said as my parents looked at each other and nodded. They walked off to the car. "This isn't goodbye, right?"
Miguel looked at me and smiled. "I'm going to end up living on the base close to here. I promise this is not the last time we will see each other." We started to lean in, and our lips touched.
The moment seemed magical, and neither if us wanted to pull away. He finally pulled away from the kiss and we hugged. "This isn't goodbye, so see you later."
After sitting there for a minute we went our separate ways. When I got home I took a nice long shower then got dressed into a pair of jeans, and a blue boat neck shirt. I walked out of the bathroom and went to bed. I was completely unaware that it is not over.
