"Get ready to scream girls, because Hyper Drive is in the house."

I smiled as I watched the boys enter the room on TV, the camera panning over each of them as they walked in.

Connor entered first, immediately walking up the interviewer and kissing her cheek in a friendly gesture. He looked gorgeous as usual, dressed in black jeans and a plain white t-shirt with the sleeves of a black and white flannel button up tied around his waist.

The rest of the boys filed onto the stage, each greeting the interviewer before taking a seat on the couch.

I adjusted Sophie in my lap, pulling her back into my chest as the interviewer perched herself on a chair beside the band.

She was young and pretty, with dark hair which was perfectly curled, a straight off the runway dress that emphasized her lean body, and fabulous shoes that I would have killed to own. Crossing her legs to accentuate their length, she laced her hands together on her lap and smiled at the boys.

"Well, hello boys. It's great to have you here."

"It's great to be here," Lincoln responded. "We always love visiting this country."

She turned her gaze to Connor, her eyes flicking up and down his body as she smiled widely at him. "And what about you, Connor? Are you having a good time?"

He seemed slightly taken aback that she had called him out directly. I, on the other hand, was getting slightly annoyed that she was checking out my boyfriend. But I calmed myself. It was a perfectly natural reaction: the man had god-like features, it was almost a crime not to check him out.

Connor smiled warmly. "Of course! This place is amazing and the fans here are incredible."

Upon hearing Connor's voice, Sophie immediately reached out towards the screen in an attempt to touch her father. I smiled at the fact that my daughter recognized her father's voice. "That's right, baby, that's your daddy."

Sophie made an unintelligible noise and continued to reach for the screen as the camera zoomed in on Connor.

"Alright," the interviewer said, clapping her hands together, "now on to the questions everyone wants to know. Let's start with the most important one: who's single?"

None of the boys raised their hands and I laughed at the interviewer's shocked face. She scanned the row before once again training her eyes on Connor. Instead of just checking him out, this time she went a step further and placed her hand on his knee, her talon-like nails tapping lightly against his denim clad leg. "Connor, I could have sworn I read an article yesterday that said you were single."

Connor looked down at the hand on his leg, shifting uncomfortably under her grasp. He moved his leg slightly so her hand slid off before forcing a smile onto his face. I could tell he now felt awkward around her and I applauded his ability to stay calm. If I was in that room I would have slapped her by now.

He licked his lips and cleared his throat. "No, I am very much taken."

She cocked her head to the side. "Oh? Is it serious?"

Connor furrowed his brow at her question. It was common knowledge that he and I had a child together, so it seemed odd that someone would question how committed our relationship was. "We have a daughter together."

She seemed confused by his response, apparently thinking he hadn't answered the question. "So yes?"

Connor looked at her as if she was the dumbest person on the planet and I burst out laughing. "Yes. It is very serious. We are very committed to each other."
