Love at first sight

Chapter 1

Lisa's P.O.V.

"When 5+5=10 then what will 10+10 equal to?" I asked Chris Mulder the biggest jerk among all juniors, well at least in my opinion he is. He keeps on hitting on me with lame pick up lines which sometimes are so cheesy but are funny as hell for example my favourite yet is "Is there an airport nearby or is that just my heart taking off?" I chuckled good old times. Anyways if you wondering why I am asking him this silly question, well mrs Johnson; the head of maths department asked me to teach a class of juniors which apparently only seem to progress when I teach them and at the moment this 16 year old is annoying me and yeah I know he is only a year younger than me and I know he is a bright kid. I have seen him study and damn is he good but it's probably to put up with whole "I am a jock and learning is for nerds" façade but this year I promise this class will change for the better. No matter what it takes for that to happen.

My watch buzzed. Why now? cupid really picks a great time to set me a mission. "guys it's 3:30 so you are free to go home and don't forget to do the homework it's in on Monday,off you go then" After the class leaving i went to the desk where my bag was put on and hurried to the janitors closet. I moved the box of cleaning supplies and found a handle. I pulled the handle down. The wall of the janitors closet opened. i quickly got my stuff and hurried to the passage when i was in i pulled another handle that was hidden by the side of the wall and the passage closed.

I walked inside the house i grew up in. i walked until i saw a pink door and knocked on it.

"Come in Lisa I have been expecting you" I turned the knob of the door. "No shit Sherlock" I said with a smirk. "Lisa i am trying to act like a villian you know it attracs the lady angels. Please work with me" said Cupid. Yupp the very one. I am his employee and you are probably thinking WTF but i can explain.

Long,long,long,long ago there was another kind born in the super natural world. He was the only one of his kind, he was found in a forest up in heaven by an angel called Sarah. She raised him thinking he was an angel but in fact on day a human man came to Sarah and told her he was his dad but the reason why he left his child in a forest is because his wife which was an angel died and the council forbid the humans come near the angel tertitory and the human world was dangerous for him. Sarah sympathysed the man. She asked what his name was, the man said the name was Cupid that was the last word he spoke before he got shot by the super natural council. Sarah named the generous man after his child. Sarah raised Cupid really good. When Cupid turned 15 he found the love of his life but the difference was, she was human. Cupid knew what his parents went through but still carried on loving her like never before. The council noticed that Cupid was acting differently ever since he was sent to earth to go to school. One of the members of the council was human knew what was going on and soon the human fell for the same girl that Cupid did. Cupid was threatened by the council if he doesn't stop loving the girl. She gets killed. Of course Cupid protested but they didn't care one tiny bit at all. Cupid slowly parted ways and let the human fall in love with girl. She was his now. Cupid was so heart broken that he stopped loving.

Of course Sarah noticed this and told the council this. In the end Sarah got a deal the council let Cupid choose couple and make them fall in love but he could only make humans fall in love. Cupid always loved happiness it made him happy too. Soon Cupid accepted the deal he loved his job but some people didn't believe in love which made his job harder so he wrote a list of angels specialy chosen list of angels to help him to this job. This was passed down generations from father to son and from mother to daughter, Cupid became a name of honour and respect. Cupid died because he was too old. He said the angels must choose who the Cupid should be after he dies, he also said that he can be only elected when the present Cupid has died.

i felt like you deserved to know how and who Cupid is. "right Cupid that surely attracts the lady angels" my tone was full of sarcasm. "well anyways back to the mission. There is a teenager boy who got his heart broken because his girlfriend died and he doesn't believe in love anymore

because it only causes pain. Its your job to mend his broken heart and him a girl that's perfect for him. Make the boy believe in love again" said Cupid. i felt so so sorry for him the pain is probaly unbearable but not in a million years i thought it would be so bad you would lose faith in love. "What is his name?" i asked. "Niall Horan" i gasped.......
