Xander's POV-

'Xander, we are all going out to the cinema do you want to come with us?' Tanya called up to me.

'No I'm good thanks!' I shouted back down to her.

I'd spent 2 weeks sulking I was a sad bastard, I got out of bed to piss, drink and go to work of which I had to get to in 15 minutes- shit!

I threw on my wrinkled suit, tugging on my tie as I hopped downstairs and threw on my shoes.

'Late for work again?' Tanya asked chuckling to herself as she held Charlie on her hip.

'Maybe, is he going to the cinema too?'

'Yeah he's the reason we're going, a birthday treat to go see the new Thomas the Tank engine movie.' Tanya smiled.

'Tomus!' Charlie squealed clapping.

'His birthday was last week.' I pointed out, she did spoil the kid.

'Thomas wasn't out last week.' Tanya said her smile dropping. 'Will you stop being such a moody bum and lighten up, God no wonder she said no Xander.'

'Thanks for the pep talk.' I said quietly, grabbing my briefcase, opening the door and slamming it behind me.

I threw my briefcase on the back seat and without putting my seat belt on drove as quickly to work as possible, at least there the only problem I had was numbers.

Everyone at work had been avoiding me since the morning fortunately, apparently I gave off a vibe.

I stared at the screen struggling to concentrate on the squiggly digits. Zofia and Gywenth were all I could think about, how similar their eyes were the way Gywenth made Zofia smile.

'Xander!' A voice snapped behind me, I turned around quickly shocked to see Heidi (the whore) standing before me. 'You were tapping your pen loudly.'

'I'm sorry I thought you'd be deaf from all the dicks that get stuck in you.' I growled, it sounded better in my head, turning back to my desk.

'That's not fair, you didn't put up a fight at all to fuck me now did you?' She whispered spinning my chair to face her.

'If you're here for your money you're not getting it.'

'I'm not here for money there's someone here to see you.' She rolled her eyes and began walking away. 'But I'll just let them know you're too busy.'

'You're not going to take advantage of me again.' I laughed.

'You enjoyed it more than I did thank you very much, and I'm not tricking you into my pants, there's a girl and her kid here asking for you. Is it your sister?'

'Don't pretend you know me.' Locking my computer I stood and followed Heidi to the reception area.

'I'm not a bad person you know.' She frowned pointed at Zofia rocking a pram then sat at her desk.

'Xander I didn't think you'd come out. Why have you been avoiding us, I thought we could be friends through this?' Zofia said rocking the pram a bit more hastily.
