Landing on the planet of the apes

The wave slammed Lexie's pod like a hammer on a nail.

The shuddering vibrations surged and tore at her. She could feel the muscles in her back stretching, threatening to rip away from her spine, Lexie closed her eye's gritting her teeth hanging on to her seat.

The energy wave halted vanishing. into dark space.

It slammed Lexie back in her seat, she hit her head on the control panel with a loud thunk, Lex felt the impact letting out a short scream of pain she struggled to hold on to the control panel, she saw drops of blood hit the panel making small dripping sounds like raindrops, she raised her hand up making contact with her forehead where the pain was connected she brushed her finger on the cut where the blood was coming from she let out a gasp when a sharp shot of pain made her grab on the panel for support.

Lex turned her head out into the dark space hoping to see If Pericles or Leo's pod made it out alive.

What Lex saw was more amazing than anything she had never seen before.

A planet, a planet in the middle of space the planet was beautiful, it had forest green jungle choked continents, surround by Sapphire tinted seas, pale yellow chunks of desert's And serried ranks of white sparked clouds.

The planet was amazing to stare off in the distance of space it almost looked like Earth but so much different than what Earth look like Lex stared at awe of the planet.

The pod's control panel was malfunctioning the buttons were glitching on and off the black smoke rising from the panel was not making things any better, the pod shook violently rushing towards where planet is Lexie knew what it was doing, emergency landing and it was rushing down on the planet hard.

Lex flipped open the lid of the button handle mashing it for emergency landing, luckily the shield heat shield worked

"At least I won't explode on impact with the shield on" Lex said and sure enough it did, the shield was a ice blue color that wrapped the nose of the pod cooling it down as much as possible, the black smoke dispersed but the burning oil smell was coming from the inside.

Lex held on to her seat tightly bracing for impact if things became worse, Lex was closer to the planet thanks to her pod's unstable speed, she could see the jungle choked continents up close and she was landing in the middle of the green continent with a cream colored desert continent up top.

Lex was now in the planet's air and the gravity felt like it was pulling her down faster, the pod control's were turning on and off the control's were spiralling crazy, Lex grunted and and latched her seat buckle on tighter for safety she turned her head to the time system on her clock it wasn't slowing down nor was it shutting down nor was it 2027 the clock was pushing forward the timeline the clock wasn't on 2027 it was June 16 3028. Lex couldn't believe her eye's the clock showed June 16 3028.

"What the hell" she thought but took her eyes off the clock to see out her window that she was in a jungle and she was landing hard.

"Holy shit!!" Lex screamed. Her pod hit the ground hard like a meteorite, it bounced a few times on the ground hitting the dirt and the tree's that it made impact with spiralled her pod Lex looked at what was in front of her was a large tree right in front her and her pod was going to hit hard.

"Fuck me!" she screamed and felt her pod impact the tree hearing the wood crack loud like a crumbled house. Lex felt her head hit the control board making her cry out in pain, "could've had my helmet on when I had the chance" she thought, "goddamnit" she cursed, she felt the blood in her forehead made contact with her fingers, she winced and looked at the blood in her fingers.

"I need to find a safe place to fix my cuts than find Pericles and Leo hopefully they made it to this planet" as she unbuckled her belts removing the handle of her seat

Lex smiled to herself feeling glad to survive the crash she rose up unzipping her suit removed her suit arms first from the sleeves she raised her first leg out than her second, than throwing her suit at the door of the pod.

Lex was wearing dark grey tank with a white undershirt underneath her tank top, she had dark camo jeans with black hiking boots along with her was her dark brown leather bag hugging her around her shoulder to her waist Lex took a breath than spoke.

"Alright Lex time to channel your inner Lara Croft" she chuckled.

Lex heard a crackle behind her getting louder, she turned her head to see fire growing around the nose of her pod "oh shit!" she cursed turning her head quickly scooped up her med pack in her arms and shoving it inside her bag zipping it tight, she turned her head to the glass door pressing the emergency button the door flew open as the flames roared Lex made a dash jumpi out of the pod landing on the muddy ground of the tree she looked up to see vines connected to the tree she ran to one jumping quickly grabbing the vine, climbing rapidly realizing she knew the pod was going to explode and she needed to get to away from it's impact and fast "good thing those gymnastic skills didn't go to waste back in military training" she grunted and kept climbing not even daring to look down.

Lex felt a breeze of wind touching her face feeling her hair move slightly from it, "there must be a opening where I'm climbing at" she said Lex grunted trying to steady her balance and breath, she looked up once more seeing a large trunk hole connected with the vines up towards the large tree branch, Lex grasped the vine tightly, she planted her feet against the tree wall, she took one breath and boosted herself up...
