The following day, Eddie and Fabian were sat in their room in a comfortable silence. Fabian was sat at his desk once again, scanning over the pages of the book to check if he'd missed anything whereas Eddie was sat sideways on his bed with his back to the wall, not really doing anything but thinking. They had been like this most of the morning and it was nearing lunch when Fabian let stress get the better of him.

"This is ridiculous! I've read over this so many times and we still have nothing. We just don't have anyone to take charge. It's just getting so frustrating"

"Yeah, same," Eddie replied quickly not having listened properly to what Fabian was saying, and getting straight to the conversation he wanted to have, "Do you know what time Patricia and Dan came back last night?"

"No, Eddie, I don't. Do you know what I just said?" Fabian mimicked him. He just shook his head innocently, then Fabian sighed and continued on with what Eddie was saying, "What time did they get back?"

"It was nearly midnight. Way past lights out," Eddie complained whilst leaning forward, bringing his hands to his chin and his elbows to his knees.

"Eddie we're the adults here, there is no lights out anymore"

"It's the principal. Like, what could have made them take so long?"

"Almost definitely not what you're thinking"

"Yeah," he leant back to the wall again, "almost"

Fabian didn't know what to say next, so he got back to Sibuna, "Look, I get that you're worried, even if there's nothing for you to be worried about," Eddie rolled his eyes at this, "We need to call a Sibuna meeting so we can elect a new leader because I don't really know what I'm doing"

"Clearly," Eddie said, annoyed.

"And what's that supposed to mean? It's not as if you're doing anything about this"

"I don't even know what 'this' is. You and Nina are the only people who have even seen the pages of the book up close. You won't leave it alone long enough for anyone else to even go near it"

Fabian was quite angry by now. "Well maybe that's becau-"

"Oh wow, what did I miss?" Mick asked, intrigued, as he walked in the room. It was clear from his attire that he had been out doing some kind of sport, most probably just a run.

"Nothing. Just, Eddie's pissed at Patricia," Fabian semi-lied.

"I'm not pissed at Patricia, it's just-" he corrected Fabian before being interrupted once again.

Mick gave off a cheeky grin and walked closer to Eddie, meaning his back was to Fabian. "Ooh, what's happened?"

"Nothing's happened, ok?" Eddie could see Fabian moving his arm frantically out of the corner of his eye, making him look over when he spoke again, "Just, leave it"

He saw Fabian hastily do the Sibuna sign whilst having his five fingers spread apart. He mouthed the "five" silently I make the message clearer. Eddie gave him back a look of recognition but he continued with the hand signals, pointing downwards and mouthing a new word. Mick quickly caught on and turned around.

Fabian did a little wave to Mick and then leaned his elbow on his desk as a cover up, resting the side of his face onto his fist.

Mick shook his head slightly and said, "Okay then," dismissing whatever it was that Eddie and Fabian were doing, "I'm going to take a shower"

He grabbed a towel and some clothes and walked out of the door.

"Sibuna meeting in five minutes," Fabian said quickly and quietly.
