Tristan's POV 

That chef, he's so annoying, 

"Mel, can you please cook some food for her?" 
Nakatanga pa din yung chef na nasa harap namin 

"Oh, Of course I'm sorry sir, I'm still stunned" he stood up and I'm relieved that he doesn't reveal the truth to her..

"Erice, is it fine if I'll leave you here for a while?, I'll be back I promise!" I said

Wala pa din syang pinagbago, she's still the Erice I used to know. Vulnerable, simple and innocent. The truth in her eyes might be clear but I know that the truth in her mind is  still blurry

"Ayos lang! Basta't babalikan mo ako at babayaran mo yung kinain ko e!" She giggled

"alright then"

I walked away and go towards Mel. Mel is one of my trusted friends, he's our family's best chef and best partner in terms of business

"Mel" I called him and that caught his attention

"Tris, how? Akala ko ba?" He can't continue what he's saying but I know what he means

"Second, Mel I can't lose this. This is my last card" pagpapaliwanag ko..

"Good luck for you. A kitten is not yet a cat be careful, madami ka pang kakompetensya"

I want to win her back

Mel handed me the meal

"Good luck" He motivatingly sid

Binalikan ko na si Erice and I saw her playing with the marshmallows and chocolates,

She looks cute when she's like that

"Hindi ko kinain yun!" Sabi nya ng punong puno yung bibig nya ng marshmallow and chocolate

I scratched my nose and giggle, I held her hand and made our way out of the resto.

It's too late.

"Erice, is it okay to ask you something?"

She nodded as she smiles

"Pwede ka bang magkwento ng childhood memories mo?" I asked her

"Hmm" she looked at me and she jussed shrugged

"wala akong maalala e" then she laughed,

The thing I loved about her is her sweet and innocent smiles, she kept on being herself and accepting the reality with optimism

Pagkahatid ko sa kanya, I immediately texted her and thanked her that she spent her time with me.

Erice's POV

Bzzt* Bzzt*

10:00 na a? Sino ba 'tong nagtext?

Napaka imposibleng nanay ko yun dahil may minimilagro sila sa Puerto ng ama ko.

Kinuha ko yung  cellphone ko sa bulsa at nakita kong nagtext si Tristan

Nakita kong nakahiga si Jairi sa couch at nakabuyangyang ang kanyang mahiwagang lagusan

"Hoy! Jairi isara mo nga yan! Jusmiyo!"

"ehhh atee, wala namang tao ee!" sabi nya habang kinakamot ang ilong nyang namumula

"Dun ka na sa taas!" bulong ko sa kanya

tumayo sya habang nagkakamot ng ulo papunta sa taas
