"Summer!" Marazine shrieked as her friend Nina came along, bursting through the school doors as the final bell rang. "Marz! Wait uuuuuppp!" Nina yelped. "Oh my God it's so bright out here." Marazine said, putting her hands over her sunglasses.
"Dude. You've got glasses on. Where are you're colored contacts?" She asked. Nina hopped down the steps of the school."Psh, whatever." Marazine was a girl, fourteen years old.
Her hair was very black, or you may say jet blue. She had her dark shades cover her multicolored eyes. She wasn't albino so that is hard to explain the red in one eye. Her other eye is blue. A deep shade of blue. Nina mocks that it's like 3D glasses.
And the thing is.. her eyes are like 3D glasses. When they go out for 3D movies, she doesn't need any of the glasses. Instead, she can see with her natural eyes. And she can usually see better in the dark anyway.
There are some glasses she has that are oval shaped and match her eyes perfectly and it also helps her see better. She's also colorblind on red and blue too. Her outfit (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99067633)
She took off her shades which made her squint and cover her eyes. Nina placed her regular red and blue glasses into her hands. "There, all fixed. Sorry I broke it a few days ago." Marazine put it on. "Nah, it's okay."
She blinked. Now it's perfect vision, not too dark, not too bright. Just perfect. They walked to Starbucks after and ordered some drinks. "Hey, I got a letter today." Marazine said, taking out the envelope. "Oh really? What does it say?"
Marazine shrugged her shoulders and opened it carefully. It's probably just a note about next year or something. It read,
Hello Marazine,
You have been selected to go to a special summer camp for the special people. Not so many have been voted to come. The summer camp's name is called The Sixth Sense. My name is Stacy Blaise. I can't wait to see you come to the camp. Teenagers your age, older, and younger will come to the camp and train themselves mentally and physically. Hopefully you can come.
Stacy.
"Huh. That's a very unorganized letter. Even I can write something better than that." Marazine said. "Yeah, and you hate writing." "Of course." The olive writing seemed like it was written by a child. Whatever.
"It actually sounds like fun, honestly." Marazine said. "Really? It sounds boring and stupid to me." Nina said, leaning back. She looked at her watch. "Oh shoot! I'm late! I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" Marazine sighed. "Go hop to it, little bunny." "Thank you!" Nina said, rushing off to whatever she was late for.
Marazine threw away the empty cups and started to walk home. She opened the door and saw her mother. "Sup, mom." She said. "Hey honey!" Her mom was making some beef stew for their dinner. "I got this letter from school about a summer camp." Marazine said, taking out the cleanly ripped envelope. "Oh really?" Mom said, taking the letter. "Hey, there's a brochure inside too." "Must've not seen it."
The brochure pictured a forest, a beach, and a huge building. It wasn't an ordinary summer camp. Marazine probably thought of all the electronics and books there may be. "Can I go? It sounds cool. Well, looks cool."
"I don't know... It's in the Four Corners... I don't know if I could just let you go fly over there by yourself." Her mother said. "Pleaaassee!" Marazine started. "I can grab my phone and keep it on and in my back pocket aaaallll the time!" "Well...."
"I'll study for once!" Marazine was an average of A's and B's without studying. "Huh, that's a big surprise. But, since you're considering it, fine. You can go." Marazine jumped up. "Thanks, mom!"
"No problem, hun." Marazine smiled and prodded off to her room, fixing her glasses. She put on her headset and slumped on her compuuter chair, about to talk to her best guy friend.
They pulled up Scene, a social network download that allows voice call, IM, and video call. They pulled up video call and Marazine pushed on her camera. "Ozziiiieeee!" Marazine said.
"Whaaaaaaat?" He said, resting his face on his hand, elbow on the desk. "I'm going to a summer camp!" Marazine exclaimed.
"I thought you hated outside." He said. "You're such a butt." "Just so you know, the outside is better than you think."
"That's what you think, you haven't been through what I've been through with the outdoors." Marazine says.
