"Uh... Beebee? You're here too?"
"Of course I'm here ya ding dong!" She said, playfully whacking me in the forehead with the back of her hand. It was pretty awkward that she was here. It's been a while since I saw her.
Her name was Barbara Collins. She was the same age as me, fourteen, but I was older than her by two months. She has a short attention span, and can be angered very easily. Although, if she likes you, she will get overly excited about everything.
I heard her gasp. "Oh my God! These flowers are beautiful!" She exclaimed and looked around. Jasper nudged me with his elbow. "Who's this, exactly?" I sighed, "Beebee... We were neighbors before Alaska."
"Why is she here, exactly?" Marazine asked. "I don't know." My vision began to fade, until I shook my head to keep myself steady. My face felt puffy and swollen and tired... "I'm going back to the cabin... Night guys..." I yawned and started walking. "Goodnight!" "G'night." I still don't understand what happened the past few minutes. Something pounced on my back.
"CAL!!!!" I swear my eardrum broke. "Mhm...?" "Where are you goin'?" Beebee asked. "To my cabin." She whined, "Whyyyyy? I just saw you and now you want to leave?" She was choking me now. I peeled off her fingers and turned to her. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay! Goodnight Cal!" I shook my head as she skipped away. These people are crazy. I entered the cabin and went straight to the boy's bedroom and flopped on the middle bed. A groan escaped my lips and I forced myself to sit up.
Why do I feel sick all of a sudden? My stomach was killing me and my head's not making it any better. I guess I never got a good night sleep? No, I slept in the hotel fine. Maybe it was the flowers in the garden? I don't know really, but I just want to go to sleep.
I threw the notebook under my bed and took off my sweater and hung it at the head of my bed. I tossed my glasses at the nightstand and smashed my face with the pillow. To my surprise, it was incredibly soft. Whatever.
Then, there was a loud knock on the door. I just wanted to yell out, "Go away! I'm trying to sleep here!" but that would be rude. I push myself up and went to open the door. It was Midori.
"Howdy, Cal!" I nodded and yawned. "Hello." "Do ya know where Timmy is?" I squeezed the doorknob. "No. Why?" She shrugged. "M'hat fell apart so Timmy's fixin' it." My grip loosened and a raspy, "Oh" escaped me.
"You okay, Cal? You don' look so good." She said. "I'm fine. I'm, just going to go back to bed." Midori nodded. "Night Cal!" "Goodnight."
The next morning, everything was... different. I couldn't see anything when I first opened my eyes. I reached over to get my glasses. My hand felt over the wooden desk until I realized that they weren't there.
I felt a sensation of fear and worry. I felt a sharp pain on my back. My eyes calibrated and I could barely see. It was too bright. "Aye, Cal. You okay?" I think it was Timmy. Or maybe it was Jasper?
"Mhm..." I murmured. I felt a hand pull me up. I guess I fell on the floor. "I-I can't find my glasses..." I rubbed my eye with the back of my hand. "I'll look for it for you." Whoever said that said. I nodded.
I went out of the room. The room was a bit dim and I could only see a little bit. I bumped into something. "Sorry!" I immediately shrieked. "Do not apologize, Carnelian. It was an accident." Something slipped onto my face. It was a girl in front of me.
"U-uh..." I muttered. God, I am such a loser. The girl in front of me was Lilith. She was dressed in a black dress, boots, fishnet stockings and a leather jacket.
