Jasper sighed. "Who wants to go first?" Lilith just put up her hood and walked out. "It is not even electrified anymore." She said, crossing her arms. They started running out of the cave. "Ew, ew, ew. Mud, mud, mud." Marazine whined.
"Oh crap!" She tripped. "You have got to be kidding me." Midori helped her up. "C'mon partner. It'll be over soon!" She said and they kept running. Once they saw the gates they rushed into the camp. Cal stepped away from the gates, then back in, then out, then in again. "What?"
The forest was raining, in the camp it wasn't. "Cal get over here!" Jasper said, pulling his arm. "Whoa!" The kids were all muddy, except Lilith. "Wait, how are you not wet? Or muddy?" Marazine asked. "Do not question. Just pay attention to the man." She said, pointing to Cruz, their supervisor.
"Welcome back children."
Ruby, who's clothes were covered in mud and leaves, walked up to him. "What is the meaning of this?!" She screamed at him. "I told you it was a test." "Why did we have to be locked in a forest the whole day?"
"You'll learn sooner or later." He said. Stacy came from behind him. "Are the results in?" She whispered. "Yes. It'll be posted at 8." "Good job. Make sure my daughter's points are posted too." After that, she looked around at the muddy kids. "Children, go get yourselves cleaned up and then go to the hall and get something to eat. You deserve it."
Ruby stomped her foot. "You actually believe that after you left us in the forest that we're just going to think that it's forgivable? I want to go home." She took out her phone.
"What? No bars?" "Well, we'll talk about that later, Ruby. Just go to my office at the main building." Stacy said kindly. "Wait, huh?" "All of you go back and get cleaned up."
"Well, we should do what she says. We can't do anything about it." Cal said, dragging his feet. "I'm going to have to leave. Goodnight." Lilith said and left.
"Bye."
~~~~~~
"Mother, I am back." Lilith said, closing the door. "Good. The results are posted on the screen." Stacy said. The room was white and full of computers. It was a laboratory. "The date is June 5, 2064. Computer, pull up the results on Day one."
The computer lit up and names on the wall appeared. There were ranks and how many heart beats are made out of fear.
Ranks:
1. Carnelian Flavian Panic Beats per Minute: 32 Psychic
2. Lilith Blaise Panic Beats per Minute: 40 Sensus
3. Jasper Braith Panic Beats per Minute: 41 X-Ray
4. Mary Shannons Panic Beats per Minute: 52 Heat Resistant
The list went on with all the other members of the academy.
"Well Lilith, what do you have to say for yourself?" Stacy asked. "I... How is that possible?" Lilith asked herself. "That's what I would like to know. How can you let such a shy, timid child pass you?"
"Mother I--" "No. Go to your room. We will discuss this later." Stacy said, sitting on a computer chair. She rubbed her temples. Cruz and some of the other supervisors came into the room and sat at a computer. "So, how were they?" Stacy asked, turning hers on. "They calmed down after a while. Did Ruby go to your office?" "Yes, indeed she has. I managed to calm her down and convinced her to stay."
"It's best for none of them to leave, their parents did pay for them to go here." "That's exactly why. They came here to have fun, so let there be fun."
"Are the gates secured?" "Yes ma'am."
Stacy stabbed the keyboard with her fingers. "How many are there?" "1982 Mortalis, sadly. So that makes 18 Potens." She sunk back in her chair. "How are we going to win the game now?"
~~~~~~~~
"Well that's really stupid." Timmy said, "Yeah, why would they lock kids in the forest?" "Well, Lilith and that Cruz guy said that it was a test. I don't really get why they would test our bravery and stuff like that." Marazine commented. "Did you all fail?" Timmy joked.
"No. We did not." Jasper replied. Timmy chuckled. "I'm just kidding, don't let it get to you." Cal yawned and put on his sweater. "I'm going to go to sleep. Goodnight."
"But, it's only like six." Midori pointed out. "Goodnight." Angel said, waving at the girl's room. Timmy turned her hand to Cal. "Goodnight."

DAY TWO
"We're not going back there." Ruby exclaimed. "I'm not locking you in." Cruz replied. "Then... Then what are you going to do?" Violet asked.
"We're all going to play a game. There are five main flags, each from your sense teams. Each of you have a belt with two flags. If someone pulls your flag, you're out." "So, we're playing capture the flag?"
"Yes. Except, you can't touch the ground or you will instantly be out."
~~~~~~~~
They entered the forest. "You have ten seconds to climb a tree." Cruz said. "If you aren't off the ground by then, you're out." Cruz said, counting the seconds. After five seconds, Cal and Lilith were already on a tree branch. Midori was hanging onto that branch and Marazine was hanging off of her. Jasper was on the lowest branch.
Angel was sitting on the tree next to them and Timmy was helping her balance herself. "Time's up!" He said. About 90% of the children (1900) were still on the ground. They all had to exit the forest. "I wonder what the prize is." Jasper said.
"Probably something stupid." Timmy said.
"I'm slippin'!" Midori exclaimed. "No, Mimi! Don't slip!" Cal climbed down from the branch he was on and grabbed Midori's arm.
He hoisted her up and both of them helped Marazine. "This is a very strange camp!" Marazine said, sitting on the branch. "Well, we can't go anywhere now. We have no phone reception or anything to get of here with." Timmy said.
Jasper jumped over to their branch and tugged on Cal's shirt. "What's a phone again?" He whispered. Cal glanced over at him.
Is this guy crazy? Cal asked himself. He doesn't even know what a phone is. He didn't know what an iPod is either. Well, nobody uses iPods anymore anyway. Nobody's really used them since the early 2000's...
"Hey Cal! Come on, we're looking for our flag before we look for the others." Timmy said as they all attempted to go from tree to tree.
"R-right!" Cal said, following them.
