Darkness. It was the first thing I could remember when I opened my eyes. That, and the bitter cold. It was a type of cold that reached my bones, leaving me shuddering from the inside out. As my other senses awakened, I noticed the sound of drops of water, falling slow and steady. I realized that I was in fact, laying down in a cold, puddle of water, a couple inches above the ground. My limbs refused to move, as I tried again and again to make them obey me, a tingling sensation took over them. Slowly, I was able to move my limbs, curling up into a ball, the effort exhausting my tired and frail body. I layed there for what felt like hours, until finally i had enough strength to lift myself into a sitting position. It was then that I realized that the room was not completely shrouded in darkness. A tiny, dot of light was leaking into the room. As I looked around me, I saw the tiny space that I was in. Four stone walls surrounded me, water was slowly trickling down them, reaching the growing puddle on the floor. My eyes kept looking back at the tiny light, until finally my curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to investigate what it was. After my third attempt to stand, I was finally on my feet, realizing that although I could stand up on my shaky legs, the ceiling was only inches from the top of my head. My muscles protested and ached as I held myself up, and a painful throbbing sensation was in my right ankle. Shuffling my feet, I slowly made my way towards the source of light. As I crouched down to look, I noticed that the light was coming from outside. As I looked through the hole in the wall, I could see what looked to be a forest. Heavy rain was falling outside, slowly leaking into the room I was in. I put both hands on either side of the hole in the wall in order to steady myself, when all of a sudden, the wall in front of me fell onto the floor, taking me with it...
