It was raining hard when I left, surprisingly as it sounds I've never had a problem with rain. Luckily I was able to reach Central Park in one piece, after dodging hordes of angry new yorkers and about a dozen taxi cabs, I was fortunate enough to find an old weeping willow tree to rest in.

At first it took a while to adjust to my of living, but I learned quickly and I've handled my new way of life quite well. Since I spent most of my life in the outdoors, it helped me out in more than one occasion, from catching dinner to running from alley dogs. It's been roughly a month since I ran away, and during that time I've definitely have made my fair share of enemies, which brings me to today.

Today started out like any other Saturday, I got up, groomed, and set out for brunch at The Loeb Boathouse, I can usually get some good there. As I got there the owner of the joint was just taking out some scrapes and it turns out that I wasn't the only one that had the same idea. Rufus, a pit bulls alley dog that runs around Central Park and accompanied by his two brothers, Lewis and Rico. The three pit bulls turned in my direction and as soon as they saw me they showed their teeth and began running towards me. I began running away from them at top speed, but I wasn't going to last long on an empty stomach, the three dogs were close behind me, snarling and snapping their jaws, trying to grab a hold of my tail. I was out of breath and my vision became blurry, the adrenaline was the only thing keeping me going. I feel my front paws fall out from under me and wide up falling flat on my face and slammed into a whole tree. As much as I try to get up my legs just would not move. The whole tree that I was in only had one way out and the three pit bulls were blocking it. My eyes grew heavy I knew I wasn't going to get out of this situation. Everything started to black, but moment before darkness washed over me I saw a glimpse of another dog going against the pit bulls.
