They injected a mixture of pain killers and sedatives into Eli on the plane ride home. They argued it was best for as much for them. Although Remy disagreed with this, he didn't put up an argument. There was enough general fear and confusion over her appearance. Who was she? Whose side was she on? It would only add to the uneasiness of things if he did start up an argument now.

Then there was also the matter of Eric, who lay just as sedated on another cot across from them. He was spared being completely covered in electrical burns only because at last minute diversion of the majority of the electricity. Even so, his wounds were still a concern and their was talk of the shock causing a stroke. Eli suffered her own grievances, though they were more minor. The worst of them being a large gash on the back of her head.

Remy took it upon himself to sit guard near her the entire ride commenting on everything the medics did. When they finally landed, he gave a hand in helping take her down to the bottom level of the School to one of the rooms in the medical wing. And although he wanted to stay and make sure she was taken care of there were other things that needed addressing. Besides, Jean made it very well known that Eli was not to be disturbed, going as far as locking the door to the room. The fact that she was being treated like a prisoner bothered him slightly but at least this way someone else couldn't just walk into her room.

After showering and getting fresh clothes, he hurried down towards the Medical Wing when Jean caught up with him. "The Professor wants us all in the Tactical Room." He gave a stiff nod in response, the two of them weren't on the best terms. She didn't trust him as far as she could throw him. The elevators doors opened and he took a left rather than right, entering the last door on right side of the hall. The others had already gathered there, including a grim faced looking Hank McCoy. Remy didn't need to be a telepath to know why he was upset. They had failed at their mission and all but insighted straight out panic at the event.

"The results just came back, Magneto is going to live." Hank McCoy, also known as Beast said directing the attention of everyone in the room to the screen on the wall. "Although there is going to be some major scarring from electrical burns and he suffered a stroke during the attack. His speech is likely to be slurred and possibly many other complications that go along with it.

"God, why would she do something like that on purpose?" Jean asked looking over the report. Being a doctor and a geneticist gave her a better understand of all the of damage. And reading over everything revealed the injuries were much more extensive than Beast had them to believe.

"I don't think she did." Logan, aka the Wolverine, muttered his arms crossed over his chest. He still was angry over the fact he had to put out his last cigar when the Professor dropped in unexpectedly. There was still a faint mark on the palm of his hand from where the lit end made contact with his skin. "Before Magneto grabbed her she seemed pretty worried."

"I would be to if someone manipulating metal grabbed me too." Cyclops, Scott Summers, added sarcastically.

"I don't know. She said she didn't want ta hurt him." Remy added. "When I tried ta help, she yelled at me to stay back. She look'd pretty spooked."

"Did you see what she did to Magneto?" Scott questioned rolling his eyes. "She nearly caused him to have a heart attack, a stroke is just as bad."

"That kind of power is to dangerous." Jean added.

"To dangerous for what?" Ororo asked, her abilities to control weather landing her the nickname Storm. "To live? Even if she did it, he attacked her, it was self defense."
