"Eli."I froze in place, my whole body tensing. I could feel the familiar tingle that ran down my spine and across my scalp as my fingers balled into fists.
"I don't believe we've ever been formally introduced." He said stepping out of the dark hall and into the dimly lit room. In response I retreated backwards until my finger tips made contact with the wall. "My name is Erik Lensherr, but I'm guessing you know me as Magneto." His silver hair glinted in the light. "We've met once before but it was under rather unpleasant circumstances and I don't suppose they give to kind of accurate descriptions of me at the School, now do they?"
"Yeah, I would say so." I hissed out before I could stop myself. Was it a good idea to taunt the mysterious man that could bend metal who happened to be in charge of a terrorist organization? Probably not. Was I going to do it anyway? Probably because I had no filter.
He chuckled seeming more amused than offended. "Eliana Duncan, I must say you truly do have the spirit for it."
I remained silent, not trusting my voice. Spirit for what? I glanced towards the door and began edging towards it. He raised an eyebrow in response. I took that as my cue and turned bolting for the door.
I gasped feeling the crushing weight of a hand wrap its way around my throat. Before I could even lift my hands another caught my waist. I gasped out a cry feeling something being jabbed in my neck. And then everything around me spun into a blurry mess.
"Be gentle, Sabertooth." Magneto said, his voice sounding distorted. "We wouldn't want to injure our newest recruit."
The arms disappeared and I was left standing alone. Whatever I had been drugged with wasted no time upon entering my blood system. I swayed on my feet, blinking my eyes open and shut, as if turning it on and off again ever really worked. I lurched forward throwing my arms out towards the wall. I nearly fell before a pair of arms lifted me off the swaying ground.
It took me thirty seconds to figure out what happened and by then my captors had already started moving. Squinting up at him, I recognized the man carrying from Comic Con too. He was the one Remy saved me from, Sabretooth, Magento had called him. The name sounded familiar but I couldn't remember why. My brain was already getting foggy.
I attempted to struggle and by attempted I mean I thought really hard about it. But my body couldn't manage anymore than sitting up before I collapse back against the man's arms again. I finally gave up, my body going slack. My last sight was watching the way Magneto's cape swept out behind him as he walked.
....
I rolled over with a groan, my head was throbbing and whatever was around my neck was choking me. My fingers caught hold of the metal feeling collar and pulled. My eyes flashed open, my entire body tensing as I realized it wasn't coming off.
"It won't work." A voice said. I sat up straight my fingers still desperately clawing at my throats trying to free myself. "Trust me, all you are gonna do is scratch up your throat, and there's gonna be blood and then its gonna get infected. Really, just don't." What the voice was saying began to sink in and I stopped my fingers wrapping around the collar loosely. "Names Warren, you must be Eli."
"You have wings." I blurted out. My thoughts were still distorted from the drugs and with the loss of my cognitive functions, so was my filter. A look of annoyance flashed across the face of the man standing in front of my cell. He crossed his arms over his chest glaring down at me. Two large white wings perturbed from his back moving ever so slightly with each breath.
