Eli's P.O.V.
In the HallwayA white lightning pang of jealousy shot through me even though the kiss only lasted for three seconds. Remy quickly pulled away way holding her at arm's length. She smiled up at him and I bit my lip in response, wrapping my arms around myself looking down the hall.
"Haven't seen you in ah while, Remy Lebeau." She said and I found myself cursing her stupid southern belle accent. It sounded so naturally charming and seductive. I found a door knob and glared at it menacingly. Rogue, that was the name Storm had said. And it was quite obvious they were past lovers by that greeting. The anger brought a slight tingly sensation to my palms and I pressed them tighter against my skin. I can't have an accident now, I think I would die from the embarrassment.
"Rogue." He said, I felt his eyes wander over to me as I tried to melt the door knob with my eyes. "You haven't met my girl friend Eli yet have you?" He asked clearing his throat. I blinked turning in surprise as the word girlfriend left his lips. I mean, I knew we were together but it was the first time I heard him say it aloud and to somebody else.
Rogue's happy smile disappeared being replaced with a shocked expression, her lips stuck in an 'o' shape. A blush began to spread up her neck and to her cheeks as she stepped back slightly. "Ah didn't know." She'd muttered her cheeks now fully red, her eyes traveled over me looking me up and down. Almost as if to size me up.
Her face eyes stopped on my hands and I looked down at the gloves I wore than back at her. Ignoring me she looked back to Remy and said in a very clear voice. "Can I talk to you for a second? In private?" Her eyes shifted back to me accusing and I couldn't help but roll my eyes in response and turn leaving. My room was only a few more feet down the hall.
"Give me a minute." Remy muttered to her grabbing ahold of my hand but not stopping me, walking the rest of the way to my door. I unlocked it stepping inside and facing him, he looked down at me his expression unreadable. Before he could say anything I pulled his lips to mine, catching a hold of the collar of his jacket. Realizing what I wanted he wrapped his arms around my waist leaning down to deepen the kiss.
I pulled away slightly when I heard Rogue clear her throat. Forcing myself to not roll my eyes again, I whispered goodnight to him. He responded by leaning in again to place a chaste kiss on cheek like he did after our first date. He stopped before pulling away whispering in my ear, "It'll be a quick talk."
"Whatever." I sighed shutting the door as he left, stretching. I caught sight of myself in the mirror on my desk. My hair was wild and tangled, probably from riding home with the windows down at law breaking speeds. I tugged my fingers through it, a strand of hair catching on the velcro on my gloves. Unwrapping them, i threw the pair of them onto the floor by the bed before giving up and taking a shower. I stepped out wrapping a towel around myself. Then began brushing my hair with a comb before braiding it into pigtails so I wouldn't have to curl it in the morning. I opened up the bathroom door walking over to the dresser and rummaged through it finding my over sized coca-cola shirt which I used as a night shirt and shorts to wear.
"Remy!" I cried seeing him out of the corner of my eye, said thief laying on my bed. "What are you doing in here?" I hissed feeling my cheeks heat up. I caught a hold of the top of my towel making sure it wouldn't slip on accident.
"I knocked." he said defensively with a smirk, his eyes traveling over me. He was laying half way propped up with my pillow behind his head. "You didn't answer, so I let myself in."
"I didn't answer because I was in the shower." I glared accusingly. "And you didn't just 'let yourself in', the door was locked." he shrugged and i rolled my eyes throwing a shirt I found on the floor at him. He caught it before it hit him in the face but I used the distraction to slip back into the bathroom and quickly dress. "What do you want?" i asked walking back out and dropping face first onto the bed.
"You." he said lowly, his lips close to my ear. I felt his arms snake around me as he pulled me towards him. I groaned leaning back against him, he rested his chin on top of my head. We sat in silence like this for a while, him playing with one of my pigtails and every so often trailing his finger tips randomly over my skin. Some time around ten he broke the silence. "Do you trust me?" I didn't say anything, and he wasn't going without an answer. "Eli?"
"I don't know if i even trust myself anymore." I whispered.
"Come on, Eli." he murmured. "I already said I forgive you, you can't still feel bad about dat."
"I know, it's not that. It's something that happened before I met you..." I said looking at the clock again. "Are you staying the night? Because we both have work tomorrow."
He chuckled. "I'm guessin' dat's your way of gettin' rid of me. Goodnight, cheré."
"Night, Remy." He kissed the top of my head before slipping off my bed and out of the room.

Third Person's P.O.V.
Conversation between Rogue and Remy"Ah see you've been busy." Rogue commented crossing her arms over her chest. She tilted her head back slightly looking up at him. "Who is she?"
"Eli?" Remy asked. "She is new around here."
"And?"
"And what?" He said looking at her confused.
"You are dating her now? How long have you known her? Do you even know anything about her!" She snapped throwing her arms up in the air acting as if it were some huge offence.
"Isn't dat the point of datin' someone?" Remy asked. She let out an annoyed huff looking away from him.
"I don't like the look of her." She stated uncrossing and crossing her and shifting her weight.
"Did you want something?" He asked irritably. "I was kind of in the middle of somethin'."
"Ah haven't seen you in two months..." She stopped, rolling her eyes. "Ah've missed you and ah thought..."
Remy sighed running his hand through his hair. "You were de one who wanted to end it. And I've finally moved on."
"Yeah, you moved on real far." She snickered playing with her gloves. She wasn't stupid, she noticed the similarities between herself and Eli. "Let me guess, she got a problem with controlling her powers?" Rogue asked with a sneer, her smirk widen when he remained silent. "That's real nice, Remy. Well ah'll let you get back to her." She said turning on her heel.
Remy shook his head walking back to Eli's room. He tried the knob but it was locked, he knocked before shrugging and picking the lock. He could hear the water running in the bathroom and decided to wait for her.

Eli's P.O.V.
The Next DayI woke up to the alarm on my phone going on and quickly changing into a tee shirt and jeans. The dress code at the School was pretty lax and a lot of the teachers wore jeans. Yawning, I grabbed a cup of coffee from the kitchen before heading to work. I went to work checking in everything that had been placed in the return slot over night. Around lunch time, Remy walked in with subs from the teacher's lounge.
"How's the kids?" I asked making small talk.
"Annoying little brats, like always. How about for you?"
"Perfect little angels." I smirked at him and he rolled his eyes.
"Sounds boring." He commented, catching a hold of my waist and spinning me around to face him. He leaned in to kiss me but I caught sight of a familiar face over his shoulder and side stepped.
"Danny!?" I cried.
"Eli!" He laughed and I felt his arms wrap around me. "I've missed you so much."
"What are you doing here. You can't be here!"
"Why not?" He asked smiling up at me.
