Joel knew he was close. He could hear people. The place was bigger, as it had buildings that used to stand and some still standing. He had to be careful. Any wrong step, and he could set off a sound trap. Joel looked ahead and saw two men. "Please! Let me go!" One of them cried. "Where the hell is my son?" The other held gunpoint. "I-I don't know!" He shook his head. Joel stood in awe. "Wrong answer." The man then shot the other man in the head. "Fucking Hunters." Joel murmed. More hunters began to come out. "Well?" One asked the one man. "Nothing, Eric." The man replied to Eric. "Nathan, it's been two months. I don't think anyone took him." Eric replied. Joel got closer but stepped on a twig.

"What the hell was that?" Nathan looked over. Joel ducked into some bushes. "So. Why the hell did we not take anyone from that damn Plant?" Eric brought up. Joel froze. "Well I'm pretty sure we killed one. The one man carried him off." Nathan held up his gun and observed the forest. "We need to go back." That was all Joel needed to hear. "Come Out!" Nathan yelled he started to come closer. Joel held up his rifle, but killing off that many hunters would result him in death. Joel than sprinted off. "There, There!" Nathan shot at Joel. The bullet hit Joel's leg and he fell to the ground. "Ah. Shit." Joel cried and grabbed his leg. The Hunters started running after Joel. He got up and ran. "It's that man from the plant! Yeah run now, but we'll get you later!" Nathan yelled.

"He's going to get himself killed." Ellie held her head in her hands. "He's going against my crusade." Don protested. Ellie looked at him in confusion. "They've killed off many settlements, there's no chance for Joel." Don shook his head. "We have to go save him!" Ellie argued. "We'll be killed as well." Don held Ellie's hand. Ellie looked down at their hands. "Oh... Sorry." Don pulled his hand back. Ellie sat blankly and then looked out the window. "What is it?" Don asked, looking out the window. Ellie got up and motioned Don to follow.

The two walked outside to the big gate. Ellie stared at it. She then heard a cry. "Bow open the gate!" Bow looked down at her. "Just open it!" She yelled back. Bow opened the gate and Ellie ran through. She ran a little into the forest and spotted Joel on the ground. "Joel! Oh my god, are you ok?" She ran to his side. "I-I'm fine. It's my leg." Joel grasped onto his leg. "I got shot," Joel finished and closed his eyes.  "Alright, Uh...." Ellie looked around. She knew that she would never be able to lift Joel. "Can you wait here?" Ellie asked. Joel look up at her and nodded. She then quickly ran back.

Bow looked down at her with confusion. "Bow, come quick!" Ellie called him down. Bow slid down the ladder. "What is it?" Bow still gave a confused look. "It's Joel." Bow face then sunk. "Boys!" He called. Three men met up by his side. "It's Joel," He whispered behind him. The others then walked out and followed Ellie. Joel still laid there, not willing to move. "Alright, Joel, we're going to get you out of this," Bow said as he helped lift Joel up. Ellie stared blankly at Joel. As everyone walked off, Ellie stared off into the woods. Ellie then felt something touch her shoulder and made her snap back into reality. Ellie quickly turned around. "Oh, Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Don quickly said. "No.. It's fine." Ellie shook it off.

Don gave her a confused look. "What were you looking at?" Ellie looked back again. "I don't know." Ellie brushed off the thought that something wasn't right. "We should probably get back to Joel." She quickly brought up. Don nodded and followed Ellie.

"What the hell happened back there?" A man named George asked. "They're.... They're planning on attacking us." Joel stuttered. Bow and the others looked at each other. "He didn't say." Joel shook his head. Then the doctor walked in. "So, let's get a look at this." The doctor lifted Joel's pant leg up. "Oh, Shit." Bow gasped. Joel looked up at everyone who all had a surprised look. "What?" The doctor shook his head. "You were shot with a .22 Long Rifle." Joel knew exactly what that meant. "That's the best deadliest bullet there is! We're screwed." Bow muttered. Joel mouthed the word "Fuck".

Ellie and Don walked in the door. "What the hell is going on?" Ellie asked as she looked at everyone's expression. They all looked in shock. "Listen. Don. What kind of people do you call them to be hunters? We have no chance against them!" Bow yelled angrily. Don looked down. "If this man here was shot anywhere else, he could have lost his life!" Bow continued to yell. Ellie gave a confused look. Bow and Joel looked at her. ".22 Long Rifle." Bow replied. Ellie gave an astonished look. "Bull Shit." She shook her head. The doctor lifted up Joel's pant leg again revealing the hole. Ellie didn't know what to say.
